Misc... Yada Yada Yada

this is the time of the year that  sounds from my living room for the past week sound like This.

Not Fair.. off sides is off sides....

Unnecessary Roughness!  Bad Call.....

I don't watch football, at all! never ever... but I do HEAR it a LOT... my observational opinion of my Hubby when he is in the living room ALONE shouting these to the TV.... IS

HIS team never has unnecessary roughness, it is always the other team. Also his team never goes off sides, what ever that might be. The referees are always making calls AGAINST HIS Team... never wrong calls against the other team..

Also, I have noticed, the referee is GOOD if he makes the call for Bob's team and BAD if he makes a call for the team Bob  doesn't like. He tells them that to....loudly, alone, in the living room, talking to the TV

And how does he pick which team he loves? He has never been to Texas but has LOVED the Dallas Cowboys since I met him, he even wears a Cowboy shirt. So I asked him Why? No, he did not say Cheer Leaders..

He said when I started watching them, I liked Coach Landry, the way he coached. Same with the Florida Gators.

Both coaches are long gone, but the love is there... He is now and always will be a die hard Cowboy fan.

He can't stand the Tampa Bay Bucs, which is the team that is in our back yard.... go figure.

The other answer is he LOVES the quarterback, or USED to love the quarterback, now he doesn't like, the coach, or hates the QB.  It is ALL about the quarterback. Or the coach...

What it comes down to is he either LOVES the team or does not and nothing they do can change him.

He roots for the underdog if one of his favorite teams is not playing...

BLOG CLOSED FOR THE WEEKEND.....

Sounds like the usual Football Fan to me. ,-)

Reasons are personal! All the way! Or built-in, if you happened to attend one of the colleges playing. That is, if you watch any college football at all.

I can watch football. I can not watch any other sport. Go figure. Sue I have my own reasons! PERSONAL, of course! -grin-

We are not football watchers here. That said, I am a fan of whichever team is playing the Green Bay Packers.

Best,
Bonnie

I'm fine without sports. Hubby likes a little football and a lot of baseball. I only like the sports when my son is playing or I go see the Magic live...now that is exciting! As far as the Dallas cheerleaders, oh please they're over-rated! lol :)
Hope you have a great weekend!

Sounds like our house...although I am yelling go for an interception. The thing is, a lot of times when I yell it they do.

Roger yells all the stuff Bob says...and we both yell pass interference.

I didn't really start watching professional football till Peyton Manning came to the Colts...I had watched UT football when I had a chance and watched him. I was in heaven when he came here.

But through him, I have grown to like to watch other teams.

And if I hadn knew when I was younger what I know now about Walter Peyton of the Bears, I would have watched them....

Sounds much like my football experiences with the exception that it is all Patriots in this household. I can't wait for the season to be over.

I love the ivy and it's shadow on the fence! I talk like Bob when I watch ice skating! The dog obedience, the dog on her back and she is such a little thing! But I saw no blurring except a bit in one picture, they are still very good shots considering they were all moving.

Mad Snapper I do think maybe your B is a brother from another mother to my B. If you like James Bond I highly recommend Skyfall. We just saw it (2:30 hours) but it was the best Bond movie I've seen in years.
Hugs and Happy Weekend

Wade watches football but he's usually pretty quiet about it. I have no interest whatsoever.
Enjoy the weekend off.

I don't know if it's any consolation, but I believe ALL MEN are like that. The photo of the two bikes is poetic. I just love it, what a great eye you have.

That's funny! I do know a little about football but not much. I'm not a big fan of football unless I know a player on the team like I did in high school! lol Luckily for me my husband isn't a football junkie so we don't watch it. We do however like to watch the super bowl because of the commercials!

Have fun this weekend!

I usually don't yell at my TV, although I have been tempted. I gave up on the Dallas Cowboys when they fired Tom Landry. I follow the Tennessee Titans, but they aren't very good (somewhat like my Chicago Cubs!).

Haha. I think a lot of women live with this phenomenon. :-) Personally, I couldn't name four teams. Okay, maybe four.

Have a good weekend. I hear ear plugs can help.

Oh my goodness....die hard Dallas fans in this family!!!!! My husband ..well, longer than we have been married and that is 47 years, our son is even worse and he is 45 and now we have our grandson (13)who is learning how to be like Dad and Grandpa in front of the tv!

That sounds like me when I watch soccer (real football- they actually use their feet to kick the ball from one end to the other.) However, I back our local team, who have done well in the last two seasons winning the competition. Unfortunately the coach has been enticed down to Melbourne where he was originally. Now my team is not doing well at all. It is the only time that I am boss of the TV. TOH is usually in charge of the remote control but have won the battle over me choosing to watch Football once a week.

American football...not a chance. We struggle enough with soccer! Have a good weekend. Deccy x

Are you sure your Bob is not a twin to my Gene? Lol Gene is a little bit off of the Cowboys right now though he says they are not doing so well. Hugs

Not a football fan either, Sandra. Grenville used to favor the NY Giants, then switched to the Philadelphia Eagles when we lived in south Jersey. Virginia doesn't have a pro football team, but now he favors the New England Patriots since we hope to eventually relocate to NH. Enjoy your weekend off and maybe even do some bike riding.

The rare times I watch a football game I root for the underdog too. The little doggie wreath is so cute.

I like a fan who really gets into the game. :))

THE stadium is just around the corner from where I work. I see it every day, but like you, I don't watch it and since Nonni nor Bentley do either, I don't even hear it. LOL!

Great pics. Love the turquoise bike - I want one! :)
