Benadryl ART??

This whole thing started when Wal-Mart did not have the bottle of Benadryl and I had to buy the confounded ding dang single wrapped capsules.
I had to use the scissors to cut and cut and pull and tug.

Before I knew it, this lead to this

and then to This and somewhere in the mix I got tangled up in PicMonkey

and on to This....

Blame the post on Wal-Mart for being out of the bottles and on Baby Girl who has to take 2 each, morning and evening for allergies. And of course the big blame is on PicMonkey.

For those of you who don't know Baby is, Baby Girl is the dog on the side bar, the blond one. Or click on her name on tab at the top.

Woof! Woof! it's that time of the year ... mom had a hard time finding her allergy brand medicine too. I'm glad I don't have to take regular allergy pills. Golden Love to Baby. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

Blame all that packaging on the Tylenol Killer!! Your "art" is like Andy Warhol's--sort of.

Best,
Bonnie

What a good mom you are to go to lengths to make sure Baby Girl has what she needs. Four paws up to you.

Next to the last one looks like a pic for marketing. And the last pic is so pretty! Love the little hearts. :)

Baby Girl is just lucky that you don't make her open them herself! lol I remember in the olden days, before the meth epidemic, when we could go to the pharmacy and buy Sudafed in a bottle (full of little tablets) and not have to monkey around with all that nonsense. If they're trying to make them child safe, how about parents keeping things like that under lock and key?? and letting the rest of us not have to fight with packaging.

I give my dog 2 benadryls a day also. I get so aggravated when trying to cut open the wrapping of pills. I like the bottles also

Oh my gosh, I hate those individual packages. I'm taking Zyrtec D for dizzy spells and every morning I fuss at those darn foil packages!

A lot of things are getting harder to open, I think. I tell my husband that I don't know how old people open anything. He tells me we're getting old and maybe that's the problem. I didn't need to hear that! Ha ha!

Is there such a thing as illegal creativity, using drugs?

After cutting open all those annoying packages you NEEDED PicMonkey to relax.

I love how you have so much fun with your photos! Sorry about Walmart giving you a hard time, though.

You are incredibly creative, and find art in the simplest things, I love it :-)

well I could blame Wal-Mart but you get all the credit for the creativity :)

I have found that since my Walmart has added the groceries there are products I can't get anymore :( I myself will on occasion take a children Benadryl dissolving tablet which they stopped carrying. I now get the children generic at Target and it's exactly the same.

We do that for Disco too - but they are not pretty pink! Darn it. Sandie

Those encapsulated pills and capsules are a pet peeve of mine. Argggh!

Don't know why they make it so hard to get into those wrapped pills! I've had my patience tested a time or two.Leave it to you to make a chore so much fun!

Captivating capsule art, I love it.
What I don't love are those individual packages, pain to open. I went through that last year when I couldn't find my brand. This year I bought four extra packages before the allergy season started.

Little Adam has allergies so he has to take a fourth of one of my little yellow pills once a day. My kitten and I share drugs! MOL!

At least you got some neat pictures from this experience. But I hope Wal-Mart will have the bottles next time.

Your imagination just runs wild, doesn't it? And look what the results are! Beautiful photos! Keep up the good work. Each day I wonder what will be next. I love it all.

You DO have the best imagination!!!
I HATE those ding dang packaging! My hands aren't strong enough to open them and I do NOT see why they have to make it so hard on us!!

Don't you just love the huge struggle that is involved getting the pills out? You did something unique in the end though.

Greg and I were just talking about what a pain in the butt those bubble packs are. Both of us have had colds in the last week or so and have been struggling to open those darn things on a daily basis. Why do they do that kind of packaging???

LOL...I can sure relate to trying to open those packages...what would a person do if they had no scissors or a knife? I do admire you turned something frustrating into something creative...I like that about you :)
