Florida in October

The things I notice more at age 69 than I did at age 40.

Dropping things on the floor.
(all the time)
Picking things UP off the floor.
(where IS that grabber thingy)
The things I notice more at age 69 than I did at age 40. (repeating myself)

Removing Jar Lids
(BOB... I need help)

Twisting the twisty thingy to open and shut the blinds.
(OUCH!)

Stepping into my jeans.

stepping in or out of my bathing suit.
( Or Heaven help me and the people in the pool, from looking at it.)

Putting on Socks.
(I used to do it standing up, now it is a job sitting down to do it.)

Leaving my kindle in the other room
Leaving my kindle in the other room
(this is here twice, once for having to walk in there and back and once for forgetting it in the first place)

Ha! I wish I could say - without lying - that I don't know what the heck you're talking about. ;)

Good Morning, Wow, such amazing photos. John and I laugh that we should just pick up something and throw it directly to the floor ...it's gonna happen anyway!

Oh getting older is not what I was told when I was 64 to be soon 65 but now am way up thers in my golden days.

Where is the fantastic golden days besides knowing what the colours is when one ----.

Well I better watch my tongue.

I am in what now. Oh my mind.

Senior moment. That is it. Senior company.

I thought I was in my childhood for a second.

Love your blog and pictures always.

Okay why do you admit all that and put it into print! I don't like to see how I've changed. Why do we lose our strength and brains like that. You know when I walk into my pantry - I always forget what I wanted. I have to go out and try it again.

Ok, now I'm worried. I already have these issues and I'm in my early 50s.

At least you remembered what you came in the room to get. Sometimes I have to go in and out a few times to remember.

Girl...you make me laugh!

How you make the aches and pains of growing older so funny I'll never know.

I love what you wrote because it sounds just like me, except I will be 70 next month...

I don't know how that happened either.

You can't be too old, if you know how to use a Kindle! :) Also, leaving and forgetting stuff is my sisters habit as well! :)

But if you're like me, the Kindle is definitely worth making the effort to go get it. I'd think twice about the socks. LOL

Your photos are so gorgeous!

Your Lantana are beautiful.

Your Lantana are beautiful.

Oops! Didn't I just say that?
I'm not that far behind you in age and I've been experiencing some of those things for a decade or more.

This is a great post, Sandra. Everyone of those things are things I struggle with every day!!!I bet we could come up with a zillion other things, too. It ain't fun getting old at least when it comes to doing the little things that we used to do and think nothing about!

Those flowers are so very pretty. Sorry I am so late. Had that appointment today. Have to have it done over again tomorrow. Will explain later.

Take care and enjoy tomorrow!

I'm glad to know I'm not alone! I'm doing pretty good at opening jars. Bending over is not too bad; it's the getting up that's a killer. I don't dare sit down on the floor. I might have to call 911. But the real devil is cutting my toenails!

At 74 I certainly can relate to this post sweet Sandra. Would be nice if it will get better but don't think there is much hope for that. Gorgeous flowers in the pictures! Hugs
