Real Steel is a Real Steal

I am not a sci-fi fan... the only Robot movie I ever watched was I-Robot...BUT... for some reason I put Real Steel on our DVR... and we watched it....and it was a Reel Steal for me.

I fell in love with that beautiful aqua eyed ROBOT named Atom, although until I looked up these photos on line, I thought he was Adam... I want a Robot, just like Atom... but not to fight him,  maybe train him to do a little yard work or even house work, but we would have to move because he is way to tall for our ceilings.

These two handsome guys and the big truck were a big part of the movie but to me Atom was The Star.
I LOVE TRUCKS..and always have and now I love Giant sized robots with glowing eyes.

I cheered for him and punched with him.

UPDATE: I did take photos of a live Robot at the County Fair in 2010

And the next day we went out for Pizza and as I was paying on the way out... I shouted...

"LOOK! Bob! LOOK!  there in the corner it's a ROBOT,"  the cashier just smiled and I knew she was thinking.. "yet another crazy Senior Citizen"

This Robot was 3 foot taller than I am, and I had to stand on tip toes with the camera over my head, but I GOT THE SHOT....

.I like aqua eyes better than red, don't you? and Yes,  Bob hung out at the door with his head turned away from me as though he did not know the crazy lady snapping photos of a Robot.

I'm not a sci-fi fan either but I do like those eyes. I did take the boys to those kinds of movies when they were little. Now, as for trucks, I still want to drive a semi--just as soon as they make them in automatic!

Best,
Bonnie

Isn't it funny how beautiful blue eyes are so much more appealing on something USEFUL???? LOL I'm not into sci fi, but I do like Hugh Jackman. Glad he doesn't have to wear the bandaid on his nose. ;-)

Wow, the robot you saw looks even better than the movie one! I am going now to look for the movie now at On Demand.

I found it, but it is on Cinemax and it costs, it is not free. Did you pay for yours?

I've never been a sci-fi fan either but now I kind of want to see this.
Wade would have done the same thing as Bob did if I would have been taking those pictures

I wish I had a robot that would put up and decorate Christmas trees! And wash windows. I'm sure there's a gazillion other things I would have one do, but this would be a good start! Haha at Bob looking the other way. Sounds just like what BG would do!

I am a sci-fi fan and a Hugh Jackman fan but I haven't seen this movie yet. I'll check on Netflix and Amazon, it should be available on one or both.

I like big trucks too especially the ones that race in the Dakar Rally. The trucks have their own class in the rally.

A robot could be handy around the house to help clean. :)

I enjoyed this post and your review on the movie has motivated me to rent it. Super photos of the live robot. Wish I could have seen him.
