Reflections from my back yard

click photos to enlarge

Looking west I noticed our orange hibiscus and the yellow towel drying on the swing in a perfect reflection in the pool.

this hibiscus is 10 or 12 feet in the air and so is the asparagus fern that has climbed the bush.

The feelers for the fern are sometimes five or six feet long and are covered in thorns that rip the flesh... Baby got one wrapped around her leg last week and I had to rescue her. she had not one mark on her leg. If it had been me, I would have been ripped.

In the comments below there is a poem about a rose
here is the LINK if you want to read it. It is perfect.
Thank you Mildred of Cat Tails

Pretty reflection. Seeing this rose with so many petals reminds me of a poem about God unfolding the petals of a rose.

If you enlarge and flip the top photo 90 degrees to the left, I see a woman standing underneath the hibiscus tree. Is it a ghost?

Oh so beautiful! Your pool looks so relaxing! Lots of wind here in southwest Missouri today. The "Nador Hater" is cleaned and ready for us if a tornado comes our way. So many of our friends were hurt in the Joplin, Mo tornado that they sleep in theirs at night when the weather gets scary. Love your photos always!

HOw often do we miss the beauty that is just near by, like your wonderful reflection. so many people are so rushed in life that they miss the small wonders.

Gorgeous colors! It is so grey and dingy here today that they are a shot in the arm!

It looks so calm and relaxing by the pool! Nice reflection. I'm glad Baby wasn't hurt by the thorns. Didn't realize they grew so tall or had such wicked thorns.
That is a gorgeous yellow rose. So many petals!
