Fashion Police??

Dress? What Dress?
While watching Good Morning America, they showed a portion of the Met Gala 2015 red carpet. The theme this year was China: Through the Looking Glass..... I was totally fascinated and wanted to see all of them.
I found them here, have fun

Color Blind?

No Mirror in the house?
Bob and I consider ourselves Fashion Critics. Our favorite thing to do is critique the clothing all the people, men and women on the TV Screen.
(Think news anchors and singers on The Voice and American Idol)

Examples of our running commentary/critique

"she needs to go long or wear pants."

"drop that hem about 6 inches, honey"

"that skirt and top just chops her in half and makes her look fatter.  just take off that belt.."

"I do hope they do not fall out..". (at least I SAID THAT. Heh Heh Heh)

"Her eyes look like tarantulas" ... "her eyes look like someone bopped her in the eye."
 Hair on News Anchors
Is that straw or hair? does she have a mirror? don’t they have hairdressers? at her age she needs to go with short hair..
that hair is way to big for her face...

I love him. OOPS! I mean I love the red dress with him.

I was looking at all the fashions on Flipboard. There are some very interesting gowns out there. I don't think I saw one that I truly thought, Wow, that is a great outfit! But I also realize that each design is someone's dream of making it big in the designer world, if not there already. My head is stuck in the 40s fashions, and the 30s.

I wish I could enlarge my print for this:

What were they thinking or were they thinking?

I've seen sheer nighties that show less skin than that first dress. This was a fun post.

I must admit that my husband can be pretty critical of how people on TV dress too. Hey, it's a fun sport. (Isn't it?) I just hope none of them come to see how I'm dressed. lol

For the first dress, I ask why? The red dress I know why. Wouldn't it be fun to be in their head when deciding on their choices? Love your comments!

George Clooney and his new wife. She is some kind of smart lawyer. Hers is the only dress I like! The others must not own mirrors. Yes! I think all these things too. I sometimes wonder if they dress this way just to be talked about and get in the news. Your comments are way funnier than my thoughts ever were.

You two are too cute! I do not like that first dress at all.

what's really scary is that this is no longer shocking, it's the norm. It's ridiculous and they must have some serious insecurities to feel the need for so much attention. what would be shocking is to see some of those same people wearing normal clothes. lol I love him and the pretty red dress! I saw pics of him when he was a little boy and he and Kyle looked similar. :)

Oh, my, but I have been watching the Voice. My top pick is Sawyer.

We love to comment on everyone's hair, clothes etc. We have one long time news anchor who looks like she got caught in a rain storm (her hair!). I am sick of the dresses that show way too much.

I think some of these gals do this for PR purposes, an ugly or outrageous dress gets PR or attention for them. As Johnny Depp said, after trashing a hotel room "There is no such thing as bad PR."

Thanks for the laugh this morning.
I really needed it.
Those dresses...you have got to be kidding.
Sandra, you and Bob sound like Dave and I watching these "shows". We say the very same things.
Don't these people have any pride?

Oh I like him with his wife in the red dress. Who wouldn't. Now lets see if she can keep him hooked.

Some ladies bare too much others close ones eyes the colors.

Perfect blog for entertainment.

I enjoyed.

The dresses were - well, let's just say that I enjoyed running commentary!! :)

Your commentary about the clothes,or lack thereof on TV is similar to what my Hubby and I used to do.Makes TV watching more fun.

LOL!!! I have been known to make comments like those when I watch the evening news particularly in the middle of the winter when the women are wearing sleeveless dresses and it's -5 degrees out. REALLY? Just because they work out and have nice arms doesn't mean they have to be stupid. I'm with you on that red dress...and the guy with it.

I clicked the link and was looking through all the pictures. I'm glad I'm not famous because I would really hate to wear ugly clothes like that. In my opinion, very few of them are nice.

I wish I still had the body to wear some of these...not that I would wear it. I wouldn't wear it back then either.

But the commenting is fun...we do that a lot on The Voice. And also back when we watched Idol....

I thought many of these very same things!!
I really wonder how some of those dresses work!! Seriously! And how in the world do they go to the bathroom??

lol Hubby is a critic of singers and dancers he always has plenty to say...well he has had plenty of experience watching dance performances ...

Ha! I wonder about our local TV anchos. They wear tons of jewelry and print dresses and stripes and crazy colors. I wonder why they don't visit their national counterparts to see what the professional women wear for TV.

i agree with sweet marie. "they must have some serious insecurities to feel the need for so much attention.
that #1 is out of shorts; the #2 dress is actually hilarious, to say the least.
