Jurassic Wal-Mart

Bob went with me to Wal-Mart at 5 AM Sunday because he needed Pool chemicals that are to heavy for me to pick up. I patiently led him to the  Windshield  Washer Fluid, The Pool Chemicals, The lawn mower spark plugs and last but not least the Windshield wiper blade for my Kia.

He impatiently waited at the end of the aisle while I madly snapped the 4 inch Jurassic Park figures.  He actually shook his head in amazement when he walked down to where I was and saw the object of my camera lens.

NOTE: When we entered the store, I said you go get your items and I will get the canned air I need and come meet you in automotive. He said no, I need you to read the tiny print for me. (He never remembers his reading glasses)

The good news is.... I would have missed Jurassic if I had not followed him to automotive.. and YOU would have missed this POST...

A blessing in disguise that Bob doesn't wear his reading glasses in the shops. Love the little figure. You also get up early to do things in town? (Obviously like us, to miss the crowds) We're off at 4am on Saturday 1 August to collect MIL and Rina's pension again. Have a great day, my friend. Jo

I hate when Wade goes shopping with me. I'm glad Bob went with you though because I like your Jurassic subjects. They look almost real.

The fun of shopping with a short sighted male! Pays off sometimes. They look bigger than 4 inches.

Hello Sandra, shopping with you is a Jurassic adventure. Thanks for sharing the dinos. I would prefer going to Walmart at 5am too, but hubby is still sleeping. Have a happy Monday and new week ahead!

Morning Sandra

oh you are too funny. You did do a great job taking and altering the Jurassic Monster. For a second when I looked. I thought don't tell me another creature in Sandra.s back yard. Then I proceeded to read what you wrote.
I can just see Bobs face and his thoughts when you tell him to go on get what he wants. My hubby too has a fit when I get my camera out in store. I now tell him. Go over to what you want to get. I will stay here in this department. He said what do you want in a Canadian Tire to take a picture of. I say. You never know. Oh Sandra your a hoot. You make things so life-like as Mildred commented.

Those are really cute figurines, I bet they sell a lot of them. I love when Mark forgets his reading glasses and he puts my girly ones on when we go out to eat....LOL!

I like to go to WalMart late at night when there are fewer people (and screaming kids) there. I haven't seen these critters there...you never know what is lurking on those shelves! lol!

Things just have a way of working out and you took some great prehistoric animals there Sandra. Now all you need to do is make a stop-motion movie with them ;)

That will teach Bob to forget his reading glasses! LOL

These actually have a real look to them...or else to my imagination.

I am always slightly in awe of your adventures so EARLY in the morning!! I think of you often in what I consider the middle of the night! I think - Sandra and Bob are already UP and have been for quite some time!!

That sounds like our trips to Lowes--but not so early! Maybe it would be more entertaining if I took my camera along!
