One of our bathrooms has a shower, the other a tub, the shower has a hose, the tub does not.
My Make Do hose is this empty Dawn Detergent Bottle . Fill with water and squeeze and you have a sweet little hose to rinse tile and tub.
I have added 2 more German Saccharine Pill dispensers. Thank you to Lola's friend for donating two of these to my stash.
Just so you know..... the weather here is and has been at the OPRESSIVE limits for humidty. Since April. THEY say that the month of JUNE was the hottest ever all over the world....
UPDATE: Bird Lovers, don't miss Time Stands Still today... so beautiful
Sitting at the table making out a grocery list... could not help myself when I saw the reflection in the table.

I like your make do post. Good idea with the dawn bottle. We only have one bathroom that has a tub. The shower head was replaced with one that is handheld on a hose.
It seems to me that June wasn't all that hot here but then I could be wrong. I haven't been all that impressed with this summer
I can believe June was the hottest; we have really struggled with heat. That's a great tip with the bottle. I am up early this a.m. with a headache and enjoying my coffee. I have the fan blowing directly on me!!! lol Hope your day is nice.
Hello Sandra, great idea using the dawn bottle for your hose. We have had a "few' hot days but mostly cooler and wet the last few months. When I was young in Maryland, I remember many hot and humid summer days in Maryland. But, the pattern has changed and we are having cooler summers and awfully cold winters. Love the reflection, enjoy yous day! Happy weekend!
June was hot here, but so was July so far. We have had real heatwaves.

I also like your make do post!! I hope things cool off (or become less humid) for you soon!
a nice reflection. i like your make-do. :)
Sandra...my mom's favorite expression was "we have to make do sometimes"!! Too funny! So that is Kentucky girl's shower hose!!
I love it
Hugs cecilia
It 'feels' oppressive here! lol
So you put anything in your bottle or just plain water?
Love your "make do" hose. Clever you!
We just finished rearranging to big pieces of furniture in our living room. this is after the carpets finally got cleaned.
The diningroom hutch and another chest traded places and we said why didn't we do that 8 years ago?
Of course all the goodies inside had to come out, many things washed, and some serious purging on what I want to display.
Now we have boxes again in the closet! I don't want to get rid of the things but just don't want them out any more.
We had the fans going full blast but fortunately things aren't as oppressive as they are in Florida.
Waiting for our son and kids to arrive sometime this afternoon. Looking forward to a nice time with them.
wow, the reflections in the table are amazing!
my blog roll keeps saying...mad snapper 4 days ago. agh!
The make-do hose is brilliant.
Now that is a great made do hose...I need to think of things like that.
Thanks so much for the link back to my post...we have been out and gone all day so just now getting settled in with computer...
I could not believe the humidity this year in Florida. Since I have lived in CA for 27 years we seldom have humidity, so when I was checking in Florida I wondered when they started called it a Dew Point Index. Lovely reflection on your table.
I love the reflection photo. I need to find a better way to dispense my stevia. Even the tiny packets are too much. So I guess I should not get the packaged stuff. But I like it too be handy. Why am I rambling????
I just love the reflection photo Sandra it's very special.
I think the weather world wide seems to be a little mixed up and crazy somehow.
Have a lovely weekend
All the best Jan
I ho[e the humidity is less than oppressive today, Sandra. That's a LONG time! ENOUGH!
Today are temperature is. 28 degrees and 48 humidity.
For us is high.
Your weather is hot, hot. Sung by Taylor Swift.
I am in today. Reading your blogs . Laughing at some.
Oh that vase is beautiful and so is the reflection. Right on there.
Now I think I am caught up on your blogs. Been a busy bee.
Sounds like you've had quite the uncomfortable summer! But you always seem to make the most of things. Nice reflection shot there at the end. Glad you didn't pass it by.
