Our neighbor across the street had these two blow up decorations and a 3rd I refused to take a photo of.
the 3rd was a blow up Outhouse with a Santa with his pants down that popped out every few minutes.
What any of this has to do with Christmas I have no idea.
But since it they were in Plain Sight from my front porch.........

Weird to say the least. Our neighbour had a blow up Rudolph but it looked okay but some mornings he was deflated and it made me sad to see him dead and hanging over their deck.
Very weird. We have a few of these blow up decorations in the neighborhood and as Diane mentioned, they look even weirder when they are deflated on the lawn in the morning. I wouldn't have taken a photo of the Santa and the outhouse either.
the inflatable yard decorations are very popular but I have just never really cared for them. Some don't even make sense to me, like a dinosaur. OK he's got presents and he's wearing a Santa hat but what does a dinosaur have to do with Christmas?
Give me the good old traditional decorations
My mom is a dinosaur but she isn't green thank goodness.
Love the collage

I hope Christmas is over for them and things are put away!
Every year I see more and more blow-up decorations. I'm not a fan. :)
Not a fan here, either...and these even less than the regular Christmas characters!
Love your header!
These are great as usual. I imagine they have children or are children at heart.
Oh my...I wouldn't care to see that every time I looked out the front door.
Guess I'm sort of a fuddy duddy, but that's not my idea of Christmas.
It does make for some interesting photos though.
Now I know what happened to my
Christmas presants. LOL
Thanks for not giving us the outhouse visual. Thankfully , you are one great mad snapper rather than a bad snapper. Happy New Year.
haha!
OMD...your header is wonderful!!
We have a blow up Frosty, mostly because we don't get snow...and miss it!
Dinosaurs, Star War Characters & Pink Pigs in Tutu's (I saw one of those her) just aren't Christmas to me either and neither would a Santa on a toilet (that is tacky).
We saw a couple of blow up Star Wars characters putside one of the apt doors here in the mill. When we lived in NJ, holiday blow-ups were very popular on house front lawns, but I noticed very few when we lived in VA and then fewer here in Nashua, NH. I never found them offensive, except ones that had nothing to do woth the holiday and have to agree that a dinosaur, even one bearing gifts, is not holiday material. Good for you for not showing that Santa, but it makes me woner..."What were those folks thinking!" I know...they were NOT thinking!
They are cute but I agree, what do they have to do with Christmas! Also I don't think the Santa sounds like something I would want to see either.
Thanks for sparing us the outhouse scene. A house near us put up two giant rubber duckies. I didn't see Christmas in that, either. Love your header! Forgot to mention it yesterday when I saw it.
