The Sun Comes Up

While pouring a cup of coffee Friday AM, I realized the back yard was glowing pink, the whole yard. I grabbed the Nikon and stepped out and took the above reflection in our pool. the thing is the sun comes up in the East and these 3 photos were taken looking South not to the East.

. North, South, East and West and even looking down the pine straw was glowing pink.

Our entire jungle covered little piece of paradise was glowing with Pink reflections

Below parking lot photo grabbed Saturday AM as I was walking into Wal-Mart

Rant 1....While I was inside, only 40 minutes, the temps went from 65 to 72. We are in yet another much higher than normal temps for March. 85 yesterday and the humidity is at 83... way to hot for March. AC was turned on. In March.. no no no

Rant 2... I went through the self check out to miss the lines. I quickly scanned and pushed to Finish and get my cash... the blinking sign said Employee Log In required... of course it did.

Rant 3.....She could not get it to work. She called the manager and I waited and waited and my leg throbbed and I waited some more. What are the chances the ONE i picked out of 8 was the one the person who loaded the cash the night before PUT IT IN WRONG......

RANT 4 is my loudest RANT.... Thanks to DST next week I will walk into and out of WalMart in the DARK.
Rave for NOW....I feel better now. I have ranted and looked at the sunrise once again...

Your back yard is pretty in pink. I would have had the same luck with the checkout. I always seem to pick the wrong line.
The DST is not my favorite thing. Right now I should still be sleeping but am up since I have to go to work. I don't like getting gypped out of an hours sleep

Good morning, I love the pink sunrise, just beautiful. The reflections are lovely. When do you usually turn the AC on?
I like the longer days but I also like it daylight in the morning too. I want it all, lol. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!

I'd just like to have the time left alone!! Just thinking of walking into Walmart makes me edgy! Pink sunlit mornings would perk me up though.

Best,
Bonnie

Good to have a rant every now and again. Your sunrise photos are gorgeous. Even in this low light your garden looks gorgeous.

Laughing at Tex's comment. It sure is beautiful though, and Think Pink is a good idea.

I would probably rant louder than you on the DST...it is so hard on Lorelei...hard to get her in bed when it is still daylight out.

Love the pink reflected in your pool, especially. I have a knack for choosing the cashier/self-check that ends up being the longest wait!

We have not had the heat on in 3 days. It gets too warm by late afternoon but we are determined NOT to run the a/c yet!

I'm not a fan of pink, necessarily, but these images are wonderful! There's something so hopeful about sunrises, don't you think?

Count me among those trying not to grimace at the weather forecast. I fear this weekend was the last we'll see of the 70's until December.

Such beautiful color going on in the sky! Enjoyed all the photos. I swear I always pick the wrong line! I do like DLS time because it stays light out longer but I know you are an early bird out of the house and I wouldn't like the darkness either.

Sorry it is not DLS it s/b DST....LOL!

Life is far from perfect but a sunrise like that comes pretty close to perfection,I think.

"The sun comes up. The Sun goes down. Work away. Work away" Remember that song??

Beautiful pictures.

Some states are trying to pass keeping the times one way or the other year round. I hope it sets a trend. One way...I'm with you on that!

I can't stand self check outs. I wish they would leave the time alone!
sorry it's so hot for you. I woke up freezing and sent Craig to see what was going on...Kyle had turned on the AC!

It's like looking at the world through rose-colored glasses. Too bad Wal-Mart doesn't fit into that world.
