This is our Life . We live in Florida, we have a pool. The sun shines almost every day..
My cameras live on the kitchen table ready to grab and Fire Away... I saw the sun in the hair and Bam! Bob never even knew he was under fire....
In 1984 we drove to Savannah GA for Bob to meet my parents. They were standing in the yard when we drove in. We got out of the car, and the first words out of Mother's mouth were... "all that HAIR" (if you know the southern accent kind of sing the word hair up in a question mark)
Yesterday, I removed the bathing suit, shook it well (lizards love suits and towels) and stepped inside to put it on....
PLOP! and right in the middle of the ceramic tile was a 6 inch long male lizard.
who was stunned the most was the question...
Lucky me, the other part of me, sprang into action and scooped him up before Jake could swallow or i could scream and put him back where he belonged.

That is your life and my life, I live in Pennsylvania, we have a pool, the sun doesn't shine nearly enough and never once have I had a lizard in my bathing suit :) Lucky the other part of you scooped that lizard up quick
Your life seems idyllic, Sandra. We also have beautiful weather with the sun shining every day here in SA. But we do have a few short winter weeks: about six, starting mid-June until the end of July. But the sun shines every day unless it rains. I love the image of Bob's sunny hair. This morning Grant was on the course with me and the dogs. I noticed the sun shining on his hair (which is long - your mom would hit a high C if she saw HIM) and thought of you as I clicked. Not sure if I got the image I wanted as I've not downloaded yet. Oh and I screamed out loud with laughter just picturing the lizard plopping out of your bathing costume. I'm glad you could save it. Blessings Jo
Hello, Bob has pretty hair! I think I would scream if I saw a lizard on or in my clothes. I love all the sunshine, we have a cloudy morning here. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
It's a good life too, even with those occasional pesky lizards getting somewhere unexpected, Sandra. We also have a pool which is here in the mill apartments and the nice thing about that is no maintenance for us or other residents.
I love sunshine! The photo of sun on Bob's hair is great and yes, I can imagine the southern accent! You live in the perfect place.
You have a beautiful life! Wonderful light in the last 2 images! Have a lovely day!
Whew...I was so worried you were gonna say you had one foot in the suit when you saw the lizard. Thank goodness for shaking!
I agree with what your mom said look at all that haaaaaaaaaaaaaiirrrr!!
Hugs cecilia
Oh your a brave lady . Yikes a lizard.
Oh you are blessed to have a pool.
Where I moved from Markham, Ontario .... Were pools in our condo.
I swam every day in it. Had a fitness room with equipment. Of course I was a young 50 year old with 6 Grandchildren. So I was on the go.
One of our friends John has your hubby's hair but less hair.
Your man has beautiful hair and most men his age have loss the hair. He is blessed. He has his.
I am sure a lot of heads turn when he walks by Plus he is pretty good shaped his age. Another bonus.
Enjoy your day Sandra. Say you have a wonderful life being at your home.
Nice and private just like you like to have.
I get chills just thinking about finding a lizard in my swimsuit,or any where near me.
you and your leapin' lizards. :)
What a wonderful life...with unexpected lizard surprises!
Yes, I can close my eyes and 'hear' that southern inflection. How I miss it!
That's a cute story ... Did Bob and your mom become fast friends?
Life in Florida sounds pretty darned good. You made me laugh about your Mom's remark. Bob still has a great head of hair :) Glad you rescued the lizard, he must have been surprised, lol.
I must say I don't scream at much, but I know I would have screamed. Actually, I get startled a lot more now than I used to. But I think I would have at least squeaked if that had happened to me when young.
I think I would have a runaway with a lizard in my suit!
Now how did you know the lizard was a male????
I usually just scoop those lizards up myself when they get in my house, it's those brown house geckos that I can't catch. They are just too fast, except for the babies. I have no trouble catching them!
I think that might have scared me half to death even though I like lizards, I just don't want them falling out of my clothes.
