Waiting for more.... Portulaca (moss roses) are tough and versatile succulents. See what it looked like last year HERE... soon it will be back again... for now we have one little, two little rosebuds.
OOPS! these PHOTOS have been in drafts since April 22....You saw yesterday what it looks like NOW a month later...

I almost deleted this, but since the photos are taking up space on my Picasa... here you go
The Moss Rose/Porchulaca thrives in HEAT and HUMIDITY.... the one yesterday is so beautiful because we added one pink plant a week ago, and we have been waking up to 78 degrees and going to 91 yesterday.... I wish I thrived in Heat and Humidity.

Hello, Sandra! What a beautiful plant. The blooms are lovely. I wish for some heat and humidity, it is chilly and rainy here. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and week ahead!
BTW, is Picasa ending now?
It is a perfect plant for the south. We have not been in the 90's yet - that is miserable. I need to plant a pot of this for our front walkway.
That is for sure one heat tolerant flower 100% coming into its beauty in your FL Vit C
Hugs madi and mom
Happy Sunday Sandra. What beautiful blooms.
Thank you for sharing them.
Beautiful! Love the yellow! So cheerful!
Beautiful! I never heard of the Moss Rose/Porchulaca before ... by mother's home in Port Charlotte had a wonderful array of similar yellow blossoms on something she called alamanda (sp?).
They are a flower pot full of sun. I don't remember that they are succulents! My favorite is the last picture.
Lovely little yellow flowers with a pretty name. A nice pot, a really interesting, beautiful natural stand in the tree trunk base which has shrunk away from the bark and must be very tactile.
Happy Sunday Sandra and thanks for the nice photos
Hi, love your Moss Rose...so pretty! So bright and cheery! these are one of my absolute favorite flowers. :) Love love your plant stand. :)
miss you! going nuts looking at houses! lol
hugs,
Marie
I love moss rose. The one in your last blog post is very pretty too (and I enjoyed catching up with Jake on the other link). I wilt in heat and humidity - all except my hair that is. It grows 2' wide!
I wish I thrived on heat and humidity, too...but I thrive best in a long, extended autumn.
Such a pretty flower. I'd like to thrive in humidity, too, at least my hair!
