It's a beauty! I don't think I've seen this before. Is it about the same color as Mexican Petunia?
Hello, it is a beauty, I love the purple blooms.
Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
It's certainly not a forget-me-not!! Sorry, just couldn't help myself!!
Best,
Bonnie
It's lovely Sandra. Isn't it funny how something just pops into our head? And just as easily out of it :)
It is a beauty, past and present.
I agree with an old post...a Cardinal can drive you crazy!
MOL MOL MOL MS your brain only has storage space for Snapping not flowers
No matter the name it is gorgeous!
Hugs madi and mom
you have lots left judging by this post!
It is a lovely bush! I think your brain is actually incredible coming up with a term that means exactly the same!
I'm the same. They have discovered there is encroaching white matter in my brain. Seriously. But yours is normal. And you DID finally think of it, so that is great! I have always loved this bush, it is awesome!!
We have one too. Anything purple.
I think I like Emperor's Cloak much better for the name.
Either name would work.Whatever the name, the flowers are beautiful.
I love the bright yellow flower centers!!
Oh wow, Sandra. those images are stunning. Purple is indeed a royal color; however I read an article by interior designer to the Zulu King: she said she wasn't permitted to use purple; I think the reason was it means death! There's also nothing that rhymes with the word purple. My mind has flown off at a tangent since I read your post. LOL. Thanks for sharing this beauty.
well at least you were close. When I forget a word and I'm trying to think of what it is I'm lucky if I can get the first letter
Very pretty. Your mind's been popping a lot lately. ;)
A lovely flower aptly named.
Oh, Sandra, my mind is just shot. Ever since I was a in high school and probably before, I could figure measurements quilt pieces needed to be cut, or else figure their measurement after being sewed together. No longer. Sometimes I actually have to sit down with graph paper and sketch it out.
