Sunday Shadow Shot

I went out front to give the stag-horn plant a banana (that is the food they thrive on) I took the camera with me for NO Reason At All....
You know the rest of the story if you know me at all.

NOTE: the bushes are all at least 6 to 10 feet from the pool...

It is glorious!! And I love shadow you. Snapping, of course. Feeding a big plant fruit...for some reason this reminds me of "Little Shop Of Horrors".

That's a unusual plant for me :)
I like the big bush/flower bush in the first shot.

How fascinating. A banana eating pant. I have to agree with Ginny about feeding a plant reminding her of Little Shop of Horrors :)

How on earth do you feed a banana to a plant?

My mother used to give her split-leaf philodendrums (sp?) mayonaisse, but I never heard of bananas! Both creepy and cool!

OK, Sandra ...I promise I've not been dipping in the liquor cabinet, but the first thing that popped in my mind when I saw your second image was what looks like the profile of an Egyptian pharaoh! (Is that the point of a stag horn?)

I had no idea you have to feed the Staghorn fern. Apparently it likes you a lot. Everything is so pretty around your place.
