Chapsticks Best
All I wanted was The Orginial Chap-stick, and when I finally found the ugly old black and white container it cost 48 cents more than the others. I have a question. I am an Original from 1944... at my age, my hair is falling like snow, the hair under my arms is non existent, it just disapeared completely.. SO... Why does the hair on my legs keep growing and if I don't shave, Bob thinks he is sleeping with a Christmas tree...
NOTE: I stole the Christmas tree part off Last Man Standing on TV... I really do want to know why the leg hair doesn't fall out to

The Chapstick Weird is really weird! They say Vaseline is better than anything. So I have a tiny little jar of it flavored something red. I also like Eos cause it has great smells! I had no idea about the cuts, I guess it kind of seals them from the air. The hair on my legs stopped growing, except for three or four hairs at times. But it didn't stop for a long time. Maybe yours will eventually. But everyone is so different.
The Chapstick Weird is pretty out there. Who in their right mind would want to put something called unicorn farts on their lips.
I never heard of using chapstick for cuts. Good idea though. I'll have to get some. I could use it at work. I wonder why the original was more expensive than all those other choices.
funny on the original costing more.
you share so much... ;)
Good morning, Sandra! I did not know you could use chap stick for cuts and sores. Thanks for the tip. Some of the weird flavored chap stick make me feel sick, the taste is icky. I wish the hair on my legs would fall out. Happy weekend to you!
Petroleum Jelly is good for many things. Maybe just a small jar would work since Chap Stick...just hardened Petroleum Jelly...is so hard to find.
My main use for it lately has been around the seal on the refrigerator.
I'm one of those hairy beasties!! Maybe if I used chapstick on my legs it'd stop growing? Heck, with unicorn fart scent, NOTHING would want to grow, right?
Enjoyed this.
Ohhhhhhh thank you for all the useful hints on Original Chap stick in the black and white tube. It is hard to find JUST PLAIN w/o scent of flavor.
Burt's Bee Chapstick (made just 20 miles down the road from us) is now my go to for plain.
LOLOLOLOL I 100% agree about missing pit hair what is up with that and what hair I have on my leg is scattered about my legs.
Hugs Cecilia
Hello Sandra!:) I would not like to have a food flavour on my lips all day, and just the thought of the unicorn one is just disgusting. The chap stick for cuts is a good idea, thanks for the tip. Have a good weekend.:)
I have used some lip balms for cuts and such and they do work.I'm a fan of Nivea lip balm, but we each have our own favourites,I guess.
I think that's pretty rotten about the folks at ChapStick charging more for the 'real' thing. I'm presently using Burt's Bees salve ... remnant from a birthday bag, but it's a chore sticking my fat finger into that itty-bitty tin. Your tip's a great one!
I still have leg hair, and a couple stubborn ones that return to my chin.
Like Ginny, I have used Vaseline for cuticles, cuts, burns etc. but Chap stick would be less messy. That is ridiculous about the orig. costing more than the other! My sis and I complain because our eyebrows have gone away! lol
Hee hee you make me laugh out loud. Why do we get hair on our chin when we get older?
Not sure why I never tried chapstick for anything else than chapped lips, but thanks for the tip, Sandra. I have used Vaseline petroleum jelly to heal small cuts but it is a bit messier to apply. I don't know the answer to why hair grows some places and not others.
i never heard of using chapstick for cuts. thanks for the tip, sandra! i'll have to get some.
One of the few perks of getting old for me is that I have no hair on my legs and very little under my arms. The down side is that the hair on my head is thinning and I now have tattooed eyebrows when at one time I could hardly keep them plucked! Indeed a strange time of life!!!
I've never been much of a chapstick user. I do however love Last Man Standing. I shave my legs twice a week!!!
