Sidewalk Closed

We owe a lot to sidewalks, they have been keeping us off the streets for years. But not this sidewalk. Our walk on Riverwalk came to a halt and now I wait impatiently to see why the railing was down and just what they are doing..

This post has been sitting in my drafts for a month now. Now it is NOT...giving you a break from The life and times of Bob and Sandra.

volley ball court

Did you hear the one about the skateboarder who broke his elbow? it was really humerus...

I GET the elbow joke, it is very cute! I did not think you could skateboard on bricks! So maybe they are re-paving,or somehow improving it? Do you ever see any workmen? If you do, then please Madly Snap them!! The shot of the palm trees with the sea behind them is beautiful.

It looks like a nice walk if you weren't hijacked

Oh dear me MS here in Raleigh they have gone mad with sidewalks. We heard the city got some type of federal money to improve/enhance sidewalks and they are using every single penny. Even tearing up good ones to re do them.
I hope today is a good day in the Life of Bob and Sandra.

Nice that you have such a great place to walk. Sidewalks would be best but if they are working on them I guess they are making them better!

Funny girl, soon you'll have a new and improved place to walk and find something else humerus to tell us. The view there is terrific, I can see why you like walking there!

I would be disappointed too not to be able to walk on the sidewalk, but then it's never tiring to hear of the Life and Times of Sandra & Bob, not in the least little bit.

The the city crew was forced to sidestep this piece of work & go elsewhere? Hmmmm, typical. I bet there is a crew down the road while 6 of 'em are standing around doing nuttin'!!

I'd love to know why that railing was kaput! Interesting angle there.

Hello, why did the work on the sidewalk come to a halt? Funny skateboard joke. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

So any idea when it will open again?

Let's hope that when you go back the walkway work has been done. It's a nice place to walk and it looks like plenty of areas for leisure activities. We have our roads in our neighbourhood closed again - work on pavements and surfacing. Trouble is that the workers have stripped the road surface and then left it in a rough state with stones that fly up to chip a windscreen. We need your puns to make us smile Sandra. Also hope to hear more of the life and times of Bob and Sandra. Thinking of you.
