Sooo Smart Soooo Stupid!

I  smacked the spider, that sat down beside her.
the wild and wooly, black and fuzzy, evil looking spider the size of a plate quarter,  that sat in the middle of my bathroom floor.

I Did not call Bob The Spider Killer but I did it myself.

How can myself be So smart So Stupid?

The murder occurred at bedtime, and I sprayed the bathroom corners with peppermint spray. Spiders hate peppermint. So do my sinus cavities. I had to close the bathroom door in order to sleep through the night.

So Smart So stupid. Bob is to..... We have lizards, thousands of lizards in our yard. The Big Guy is what we call the one that lives under the broom, that stands over our outside fake croc shoes.  The Big Guy is so named because he is about 6 inches long from nose to tail.

Bob left the yard, feet ensconced in fake crocs, to carry limbs out to the road.  On the way back he thought, my foot must be swollen, my right shoe is to tight. He stops, kicks off the fake crocs and looks at his foot, which is not swollen at all. The Big Guy that lives under the broom, that leans on the wall, over the shoe, was IN the shoe when he put it on and The Big Guy rode inside the shoe out to the road.  Bob had no idea. The Big Guy survived but no longer lives in the back yard under the broom, but in the front yard under who knows what.

Would you feel this guy if he was IN YOUR SHOE????
I can tell you I would feel a lizard in my shoe... and guarantee you would hear the scream where ever you are in this wide world.

I would have a conniption fit!!! Then a hizzy fit. Then faint. Well, for me, at least a lizard would not be quite as bad as a spider. But still...I need smelling salts just reading this; now where did I see that fainting couch...

Hehe... I am one of those kerazy ones who like the spiders and the lizards - had plenty of 'em around me in Sydney - including an 18-inch blue-tongue. But definitely, I would know if the were in my shoe. The little garden skinks like to get in there, so it was always 'lift, shake, wear'! YAM xx

Hello, UUGH to the spider and the lizard in the shoe. I would start shaking out my shoes before putting them on now. I never see lizards here but we have plenty of spiders. I love the lizard photo. Have a great day!

Oh yes, I would feel that in my shoe. So don't lizards bite? I would think the big guy would have been mad that Bob's foot was stuffed in the fake croc with him.

One of our homes had lots of lizards...I despise them. I would always shake my shoes before putting them on! Sorry that peppermint smell gets to your sinuses. When I first put a Clorox tab in the back of my toilet, I have to close the door so I can sleep, the smell is so strong!

Oh no!!!! No lizards are allowed in my shoes, or huge spiders in my house.

Hee hee a funny story but could be worse if it had been a poisonous snake or spider, which we have to look out for. We never put outside shoes on without checking first. Just becomes habit. Snap! I whacked a spider that was jumping at me in the kitchen the other day. Bill was in bed so I did it myself. Very proud.

Had no idea spiders don't like peppermint. (Love peppermint myself!) Luckily I don't get many spiders here - but all the more creepy when it happens, because of not expecting it. For the same reason a lizard in my shoe (or anywhere) would probably give me quite a scare... The story about Bob reminds me of when a wasp had taken shelter in the outdoor shoes my dad kept out on the terrace... Dad put his foot in and got stung... (long time ago, back in my teens)
