Did you know using a straw will increase the amount of water you drink. It does for me....
Did you know a drop of Dawn and a dollop of white vinegar will clean glass beautifully. Dampen cloth, wring as dry as possible, clean glass, wipe with dry cloth.
NOTE: if you use fabric softener to wash your cloths, it will smear the glass
Did you know 17 drops of Rosemary Oil in a bottle of shampoo of your choice and 17 drops in conditioner of your choice will lessen the amount of hairs that fall out of your head. Thanks Pam Jackson of Life through my eyes, for that one.. It works, no more hair falling on me and making me jump thinking it is a spider.
Did you know you can buy a teeny tiny ittsy bitsy GRATER? Wal-Mart, $2.00 and the size of a salt shaker

I love facts like these. Thanks Sandra :). Fun to read.
No I didn't know any of this but now I do. Thanks.
Thanks, I did not know these facts. I did know vinegar and dawn are great for cleaning a lot of things. I will have to try the rosemary oil, my hair is really thin. Enjoy your day.
Those are great tips that I didn't know. I need to try the rosemary for sure!

Yes, knew about the rosemary - and we have equivalent graters available to large supermarkets here - they are for nutmeg and ginger and similar small items. I tried doing cheese on mine thinking it would save having to wash my big one. ... not the best... will try the mix for next time I wash windows... and the straw thing is interesting; hadn't clicked but as dad has to use a straw now, he does actually drink more! YAM xx
Thanks Sandra for that shout out. I still lose hair more than I would like but I know mine is due to the surgery and not taking in enough protein daily. Gotta work on that. I have read up on a mixture of oil that I can use that will actually help the hair to grow back. Will let you know how that works when I try it out. As for the ones I am taking for the pain, I figure that if they work then they can't be an worse on my body than pain meds! Right? Here is hoping you have a beautiful day Sandra.
Thank you for the helpful tips. Stay safe in today's weather.
I did not know any of this! Thank you...but I did know you can buy an itty bitty teeny tiny funnel. No telling how much vinegar has washed down the drain over the years when I used to pour it free handed into my vinegar shaker.
Hugs Cecilia
Well I sure didn’t know about the rosemary oil in shampoo and conditioner. I’ll have to give that a try! Thanks for the great info! Happy Sunday, snowing here today!
I have rosemary oil! 17 drops! Now I wonder how they know to use 17? No matter! I’m going to do it! To a full bottle I’m assuming! Where do you learn all these fascinating things?
Thanks for all the info! I do love making home made cleaners.
Didn't know any of this. Thanks for the info. I will try the rosemary oil.
I didn't know any of this but now I do.
A few years back my boss advised me to start drinking my dandelion root water w/ a straw. At first I thought she was full of baloney, but darn if she (and you!) weren't right! I quit with the dandelion root, but still use a straw. And for some reason, the water tastes better in a glass v/ plastic (sippy cup).
Gotta get me some of that rosemary oil!
PS - Love your purple drapes, Sandra!
Very interesting tidbits.
Great hints on the glass cleaning and hair!!! I have one piece of bad news about straws - they are showing up in oceans and killing lots of marine life. I've stopped ever using them... (sorry to be Debbie Downer).
i love facts like these. thanks for sharing.
cute little grader. i've already bought one like it!
Thanks and question - do you put the dawn and white vinegar in water or how do you use it?
