Weed be gone!

A tiny weed, 4 inches high, a single flower the size of a quarter caught my eye. Leaning over, I took this rally bad shot of it, picked it and brought it inside.

I put it in my little teeny tiny ketchup bottle, with a blue flower. NOPE!

Tried it in the nook.. NOPE!

While Snapping away taking bad photos, I said out loud to Bob. OH NO! I picked the weed and it has 2 buds that would have opened.

Next morning there were THREE....

The End and there is no Rest Of This Story and someday I will do a wordless wed post. or NOT

It is beautiful! I believe any plant with a flower is not a weed. It is a wildflower!! Dandelions included. This little bouquet looks pretty everywhere!! The last two pictures show how special it is. Glorious.

It's a pretty little weed and it makes an excellent subject. I'm trying to decide which picture I like best but I cant so I'll just declare that I love them all.

Yay! Glad the two buds opened. Makes for pretty pictures!

A weed is just a misplaced flower.
I bet Bob was impressed that 'weed' had multiple blooms.

I am of the 'wildflower' turn of mind... the blue flower in your vase looks to be Plumbago Auriculata; it has a 'soapy' perfume, which can become quite overwhelming to this asthmatic! Very pretty bush though. YAM xx

Very pretty, the three in the vase are beautiful. They remind me of the quote "May all your weeds be wildflowers" Have a happy day!

Weeds are some of the prettiest! I happen to be a big fan of dandelions.

Marijuana is legal here so I thought that "weed" would be referring to it. I want it to "be gone" some days.

Your miracle of three flowers is wonderful, and the whole story is a very fun stream of consciousness!

You, doing a *Wordless Wednesday"? I think not!!! :)

Awwww! Like Rick (at Life1010 showcased a field of 'weeds' a couple of days ago, I love that you took notice of this sweet bloom.

I don't get why weeds get such a bad rep? I mean, WHO gets to decide what's good or not. I like your second image a lot more than most pricey hot-house arrangements.

I love your precious little wildflower! And that tiny vase! Our flowers are all blooming profusely here at home! Especially the roses and honeysuckle. Honeysuckle is actually classified as a weed in some places. How could a weed smell so good? I think they are wrong!

What a lovely story, the flowers are so pretty and it is always fun to get to follow the creative process. After all, famous photographers take hundreds of pictures to just get a few good ones.

thank goodness you added words we would never have known how it went from a weed of 1 to blossom into 3.
Love all the photos.
