Bob said did you see the Moss Rose blooming? It came back. It died last year and was nothing but dirt and weeds. 2 weeks ago he pulled the weeds and poured water on it. Voila! it is here for Flower Friday.....

The moss roses look great. One of my favorites. Yes I knew who Kate Spade was. Very sad and then another one committed suicide. Anthony Bourdain. I know of him but never watched him. Hooray for air conditioning!!

I have never seen a moss rose and so I thank you for sharing this beauty! Sandra, yesterday (or was it the day before?) I heard a radio announcer lamenting the death of Kate Spade and I thought: Kate WHO?So I was obviously the other person in the world who has never heard of her. Poor woman.

Today a another man - a tv star who went around to different places to eat - I forgot his name - he killed himself too.

The only reason I recognized the name Kate Spade, my former boss was/is the most materialistic individual I've ever known. If something has a designer label on it, she probably owns it -- or will. For instance? The YETI cups she bought everyone she referred to as the "Gucci of thermal ware." (Seriously, just give me the $29.95.....)
Grrrrrr about that tech raising the price; I wonder if he wasn't going to just pocket the extra $150. (Sorry, I've a suspicious mind.)
Thise are some lovely come-back-to-life blooms, Sandra. Yes, I did know that Kate Spade was a fashion designed, like Michael Kors, and others of that who design pricey bags and other items. My niece received one a KS designer bag as a hokiday gift a few years ago and I recall that her mother said it was costly. Unfortunately, prices could climb higher with the designer’s untimely death because that’s the way things go at these sad times. I have a couole of pricier leather Coach bags that were bought at thrift stores.
