SO funny! I remember that song well! Wasn't he the Bobby that married Sandra Dee and died young of a heart attack? I think so, he also sang Mack The Knife. But enough 50's pop trivia. Will you keep all the babies there? Take them all to a nearby pond? What will you do with mom and babies? There's so many! Probably because lots get eaten by predators.

I'm with Inger. The best part is laughing as I follow along with your exuberant story telling!!!! I haven't seen a tadpole in a long time -- it's dry here so they stick to the few ponds that we have.
So do they continue to survive from the bucket?
Word of warning....DO NOT put tadpoles/almost frogs in a glass container and sit in the sun....they tend to cook and there is not enough leg there to eat.
