My Mad Mind has a question

I found a question I wanted to ask all of you..... Do you have a favorite pair of shoes?

my answer is YES, mine are the ones above, Crocs Swiftwaters. I wear them everywhere I go. I came out of Wal-Mart with a loaded basket, and as I walked in my crocs, I glanced down and thought how much I loved the crocs. Next thought that slithered through my MAD brain, I paid more for the shoes than the pants and shirt I had on. Next thought was, add in the earrings and I paid more for the shoes than everything I had on.
$3.88 blouse, $3.88 leggins $20.00 Earrings...$27.66, shoes $34.99.... as I wandered along pondering all this amazing STUFF while watching the above shoes stepping along... I noticed a very fine piece of flat twine/rope about 2 feet long, laying about 10 feet from the back of my SUV.

My Mad Mind thought... that looks like a garrote, it could be evidence in a murder... which leads to my other question for today...

Do you read books or watch movies enough that you know what a garrote is????   Evidently I DO!!!!
Don't forget there are TWO questions to answer.... I am Waiting ….
Make it Three questions.. it just occurred to me to wonder if sandals are shoes???? What do you think?  I and The Internet Say YES, sandals are shoes, as are boots and slippers.

In fact I DID know what a garrote is! About the only shoes I CAN wear are Crocs, the classic kind. I have lymphodema and my feet and legs swell up. Even extra wide shoes don't work at times. The Crocs are very comfy too! I think we should spend money on good comfy shoes. Really bad things can happen to your feet if you wear cheap or bad filling shoes.

Yes my favourite shoes are Merrel sneakers, which cost over $100.00.
Yes I know what a garrote is because hubby watches loads of crime series.

As I only wear shoes that I can wear (which is not many) all the ones I have are my 'faves' according to the climate; Black leather zip-up boots with non-slip souls for the winter; maroon leather shoes for most walking of more than 200 hundred yards (from same store as the boots which are for 'difficult' feet), a pair of white leather sandals I bought expensively about 20 years ago and which have been repaired twice - they are worth it; and some sheepskin slippers for within the Hutch. Oh, and I bought a pair of red leather mocassins when I was in Canada - they get worn in the Hutch when I have visitors as they are much smarter looking than the slippers!

Yes, they are all shoes, that being the generic term for foot coverings.

Also, yes, did know about garotte and as a reader and watcher of similar fiction, I probably have thoughts of all sorts of stuff I ought not to know about!!! YAM xx

yes, yes yes
My favorite shoes are the Walmart version of Sketcher's go walk. They are wearing out fast but they are the most comfortable shoes ever. Second place would be a pair of flip flops that I have.

Hello, I have a similar pair of crocs. They are so comfy, they best purchase I ever made. I need comfy shoes, I have weird feet.

I just read Never Never by James Patterson and a person was murdered by a garrote. I might not have known if I had not read this book.

Have a happy day!

I can only remember the one question now! hahaha! I DO read a lot of mysteries and my mind works in mysterious ways! And YES...I wear Tevas! They are my ALL time favorite shoe! I've featured them on my blog before and they are all I wear...unless I wear walking or hiking shoes. (and those are Montrails) It's SO worth it to spend more on our shoes! TEVAS!!! They are the BEST!!! Yours look cute too and give you enough support to go...go...go! Hugs!

Yes I have watched enough murder mysteries that I know what the word means ;) Love the crocs. I have a pair of sandals that are so comfortable. I have a very wide foot and it took info from a friend to find them as I was looking for a good wide fitting for way too longer than I care to admit. They are a little more than what I wanted to pay and I had to have them shipped, but they've already paid for themselves as I have worn them for years. They are like walking on air. I'd be a good person for an advertisement, lol!

I actually did know what a garrote is. Probably from reading too many mysteries, watching too many crime shows.

I don't think I have an overall favorite pair of shoes, more like favorites in each category. Mostly I wear the same pair of black flats to work every day because they're reasonably comfortable and reasonably dressy.

I know what a garrote is!!!!

As for shoes, I have two pairs of faves. My keene sandals are the ones that I wear around the house all year long. They are the only kind of super comfy shoes that don't hurt my feet at all (but they are UGLY). My second favorite is Hoka running shoes. I wear them almost all the time when I'm away from the house. They have about a full inch of cushioning - and that helps my back not to hurt too much when I'm walking around. I try to avoid any other kinds of shoes because I'll be in pain for days after going out if I don't wear my Hokas!

Uh oh, I forgot the third question. I cheated and looked back. Yes, my sandals are shoes!

I have a pair of crocs very much like those that I use for my bedroom slippers. Love them. Anytime I am up and about I wear my New Balance 990 walking shoes not sandals except after my shower when I wear the above mentioned Crocs
I have no idea what garrote is but I asked GiGi Google she says it is a verb to kill by strangulation typically with an iron collar or length of wire or cord.
Hugs C
PS the little Jack Russell I told you about last week was on the news last night. He is home recovering but still on antibiotics and pain meds. Thus far the idiot neighbors nor the county (where the family lives) Animal control have done anything. Idiot neighbors have not even asked about the dog.

Yes to knowing what a garrote is! Yes to paying more for a pair of Skechers than an entire outfit! They are my favorite shoes! And yes, if it has a sole it’s a shoe! I like crocs too but the four pair I have aren’t dressy like yours. One blue pair is lined with warm fuzzy fabric so it’s good for winter. Two pair are red and are my yard shoes as is the white pair I leave at the ranch. I’m wondering what shoes I can wear on the cruise? We will dress up for dinner......I have dressy clothes! Just no dressy shoes!

I'm embarrassed to admit, I've never even tried on a pair of crocs or Skechers … never mind these cuties. I've never had luck walking in a pair with no back (heel) that my foot actually stayed put.

Yes, I've seen the word 'garrote'! (I need to ask Google girl how it's pronounced.) 'Love your imagination, seeing that twine/rope. Actually, I think you'd make a great eye-witness.

You always amaze me by the way your mind works...
From twine to Garrote....too funny. Yes I do know what it is and sure wouldn't want it around MY neck.
I have horrible bunions so a lot of shoes really hurt my feet.
Love my Sketchers...comfy and give me decent support.
Can't wear anything really flat..no support.
I've never had a pair of Crocs but yours look so nice and can go with everything.
Another hot day today.

I'm all about wearing good shoes and yes, I do pay a pretty penny for them but I need to have happy feet, everything else is just an accessory. I haven't tried the kind of Crocs you wear and they do look comfy. I wear Taos they have the arch support I need and are extremely comfortable. When I wear tennis shoes I use my custom fit orthotics.Gotta have happy feet!!

I really like Birkenstock sandals. I had to stop wearing them when my knee was bad. I'm slowing working my way back into them. So for now I am loving Tom's shoes! No I do not know what a garrote is and I think sandals are shoes.

I can't remember not knowing what a garrote is...bad thing, I have been reading true crime books and detective stories since high school. I always wonder what that says about me. I have always wondered how people can just murder someone they don't know.

I have always had favorite shoes, right now not so much. I wear what I wear because they fit....
