PLAY TIME Happy Dance

Test run with new grahics and backgrounds in New PicMonkey

Without the internet, I could not PLAY...

Entertainment, meeting people, keeping in touch, seeing instant family photos.
so many ways life is easier, there are to many to list.

I have changed my eating habits and most of what I have learned came from Internet.

I count calories of everything I eat. I tap phone/tablet and say Calories in 1 banana..
I could go on for hours, but I want you to have time to answer this question.

How has your life most benefited from the internet? Has it made life easier? Harder? more fun?

Testing how to color background, add their drawings and my photo

Yamini sent me a link to Sketchpad, it has tons of really cool graphics... a little difficult to navigate but I do like it.. Without the internet, I would never have 'met' Yamini, who resides in Scotland or any of you. All over the world I have FREINDS...

Above and below are a few of the thousands of graphics in Sketchpad. In my memory bank if I need one.

Wow, you have made some happy images! I think my favorite is the first one, the dancing girl. I have most benefited from the internet by having YOU, and others as blog friends. And also being able to ask and find out anything. Went into Sketchpad and accidentally X'd out the download picture box. In and out several more times, and it won't appear again, oh well. I am not artistic anyway. Not like you are, so creative. You will now have FUN FUN FUN!!!! Can't wait to see what else you will be creating!

Hello, I enjoy seeing your playtime images. I would never have found you and your blog if it were not for the internet. I Have "met" many wonderful people from around the world. The internet has so much information and easy to find.
I am not as creative so I will leave the Sketchpad and Picmonkey fun to you.
Have a great day!

I love the connection with people with common interests.
Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge at my finger tips (with discernment).
Connection to family members from a distance.
An outlet to be creative.
And on and on and on.

Thanks for asking friend I would have never known.

And my current internet annoyance. I can't reply to comments on Google Browser. I can reply to comments on Silk Browser (Kindle).

I wonder if my kids and gks would ever communicate with me or send a pic if it weren't for the internet. It is like having a Bible, dictionary, thesaurus, music library at my fingertips! I am thankful for my computer and blog friends!

I like the dancing girl too! The internet has really made it easy to reconnect and stay in touch with family and old friends and make new ones through my blog. I also love being able to see photos of everyone. It's hard to imagine what life was like before the internet.

I would say the internet has helped with being able to have info right there a click away, I love reading and learning new stuff from it all the time...told my mom that I would have graduated with major grades if I had had the internet!!! Plus, blogging and facebooking have brought some really cool folks to my life. Also has allowed me over the yrs to reconnect with folks from school.....I think it’s cool.

You know Sandra - you are retired and have the time and still seek people. So I think it is great. Me I am somewhat in the middle and I use it like that. However and it is my band wagon - I think teens of today - that it is definitely harmful! sandie

So many fun and happy images today! I have a love/hate relationship with the internet...I love all the friends I've met and new things I can learn...but hate how it can eat up so much time if you aren't careful! Thank goodness for timers!

Yes life is so different now as the internet has changed everything?? I still am fascinated by talking over the net. I seem to live on the net now. It is nice for boredom times

I have to agree with The Gang at LLB...the computer and internet can eat up a whole lot of time.
But...that being said...
I'm really glad it is there for the friends near and far that I have met and those that the internet has allowed me to touch base with again.
It's a great tool for information but I have to rant a bit and say I really can't stand the political ugly stuff that comes at me sometimes.
Without the internet I would have never found you...what a loss that would be!!

I'll bet that happy girl on top is listening to "Dancing Queen"!

How well I remember asking my parents a question and they'd say, "Look it up." (*exaggerated sigh*) So, I love having instant gratification at my fingertips. It's great, finding and reconnecting with those from my childhood … but hands down, the BEST has been meeting and connecting with you and my bloggy friends. (I don't know why this thought occurred to me: 'Sort of like on-line dating, but better.)

GOOGLE can be my friend or nemesis too (if I can't phrase my search correctly)...but the internet has brought the entire world to my fingertips.

Love your fun graphics today.

Cool graphics sweet Sandra, you really know how to use those programs. I went to Pic Monkey a few times but I never could get anything to look good so gave up on it. As for the internet I like it for a lot of reasons but the number one reason is because of so many friends all over the world. I love learning about other places and the culture there and the internet has allowed that. I would never had met sweet friends like you and many others without the internet. Hugs

So much fun! I love it when you play :) I love the internet, it gives us friends from all over the world, and one particular lovely lady in Florida :)

This would take forever to answer in all the positive ways the internet has benefited me..instant information is one thing and covers a lot...can look up anything on here and almost always find an answer. Can see the world! And meet so many people...

I love the maps that you can zoom in and out on...LOVE google earth.

I love being able to get books on my kindle...love being able to listen to snippets of songs, youtube is wonderful...just too many things to list all.

Harder--it takes self control to quit playing sometimes and do what I need to do. That is the main thing for me...

I do love the Internet. I love searching for things and I learn so much because of it. I love having instant answers! I do love the fact that we can have connections with our family members who live far away. I love that we can Skype. The only thing it has taken from me is my time and the fact that sometimes your credit cards can get hacked. Nothing is really private.
