I mentioned last week, that Pothos house plants, if thrown in the Florida soil, will go wild.. Look High In the Sky at the top of the power pole.. That is a plant that was a small house plant. It is in our neighbors yard.
See the power line? that is how high it is. See the roots at the bottom right corner? that is the roots growing up the tree to what started as a tiny house plant.
Up close and personal, my Vanna Hand is to give perspective of the size of the leaves. This one is near the ground, the ones in the top of the tree, closer to the sun are Much Larger. We are sub tropics, with year round growing season. Everything grows bigger in

Good GRIEF!!!! I love the hand shot, otherwise I never would have guessed how huge the leaves are! It is so big, shiny, and perfect that it looks fake. Don't any plants ever die there, or do they just get eaten? This gives the term verdant new meaning. Glad for your sharp eyes so you could show all of us!
Beautiful leaves but it must be a nightmare to keep everything under control.
Hope you are safe with these storms I am reading about.

Wow, Sandra, that is a monster plant. And the leaves are huge too! I wondered if you felt any backlash from Hurricane Florence or isn't it's path near you. I hope you're ok. Jo
Oh, wow! I had no idea they would do that!
Wow, that is just amazing. Around here a house plant wouldn't survive the winter outside. Those leaves in the last picture are huge.
Hello, they are big leaves. It is amazing how high they have grown. It is almost like Costa Rica or Hawaii. Happy Saturday, enjoy your day.
Wow, wow and wow! I have trouble keeping house plants alive - I am the angel of death for so many. I absolutely cannot imagine having the problem of my plants going wild like that!!!!
OMW, Jack and his magic beanstalk had nothing on you! Taking that perspective shot with your hand was genius. The previous owners left a plant hook on one of our big pines, but now I'm reluctant to let mine outside by itself. :)
I remember as a child and visiting friends in Florida how surprised I was that Poinsettias grew so big and abundantly.
That is crazy. Here we struggle to get them to grow indoors and yours take off like lightening. WOW!!
Wow, you are right...everything does grow bigger in Tex...Florida....
Some of the trees around us are just beginning to slightly change color and drop a few leaves.
The temps are getting cooler during the night. I may even have to pull the spread up now..
Wow that is some giant ex-houseplant, Sandra. I currently have a couple of bamboo plants that are taking over inside.
OH MY GOODNESS - those are HUGE - you are right - not kudzu at all.
WOW!!! Nature sure does have a mind of its own, doesn't it?
Wow, that's amazing!
