Hello, my name is MADsnapper! There is a reason for the word MAD, as in she is quite mad, meaning strange/weird/crazy.
As in taking photos of the truck across the street, then sharing it. It gets worse.
I pumped fuel in my SUV, Note the cost is 35.00, return to car, set trip mile to zero. I noticed I had only been 162 miles since the last fill up. Driving home the MAD mind decides to do the math. I paid 35.00 to drive 162 miles. .(we fill our cars at half tank)
Each mile is 25 cents.
3 miles round trip to TOPS meeting : $1.50
Round trip to YMCA $1.50
Wal-mart $1.50
Vet Visit, Publix, Dollar General, Gas station are all on $30 cents for round trip
PERSPECTIVE adjustment.. Now I feel better over the $2.79 a gallon fuel.
See what I mean? I am never bored. Although Quite Mad
Not sure if our new neighbor matched his work truck to the sky or to the trim on the house he rented.... The good news is our other neighbor next door was about to move and I was heart broken. Now she is not moving and I am happy....

Truck and sky match beautifully! You must have math ability! I am not good at it, and it frustrates me. Why did you not want your neighbor to move? Why did she change her mind?
Did you really like her, or were just afraid of who may move in next?
Wow I wish our gas was that low. Good that your neighbour plans to stay.
$2.79 for gas? Everywhere around here it's at $3.15. But, if I take a 10 minute drive into Ohio I can get it for $2.69. The gas prices in Pa are terrible.
$2.57 here (per gallon)...but supposed to jump in price this week!! Only 162 miles with a tank of gas??!! My goodness...that's crazy. With my chevy malibu LT, I get about 350 miles per tank.
...filling at 1/2 tank. That sounds better. lol
You are MAD woman! Haha. No matter where I go my eyes are always scanning the area for that awesome photo op! Before I had a cell with a phone...heck before I had a cell I always had my point and shoot camera in my purse. Then when I jumped up to a professional camera I even carried it places with me!ot is an addiction. And I love it! Have a great day and SNAP on.
Hello, I think our gas price is about the same as yours. I do think we get better gas mileage with our Corolla. The blue sky is pretty. Enjoy your day!
Just sitting here wondering what in the world comment to make--hahaha. Have a great day!
Are you saying we use less gas filling it to 1/2 gallon? I am confused.
I am glad that your neighbor isn't moving too!
Gas is a dollar more per gallon here! I fill up when my light goes out most of the time. Glad your neighbor isn't moving.
It is always hard to have to say goodbye to a neighbor. Glad to hear yours decided to stay. I enjoyed your mathematical calculations and your photos of course.
I love our beautiful blue skies! And hope we don't have too much bad weather this week. We are back...but still very tired! Enjoy your afternoon!
Be glad you don't live in California! Next time I fill up, I will see how much it costs now. Way over $3.00 for sure. And I live 20 miles from the stores!!! And am getting too old to do a one trip covers all the stores I need to go to. So now I just don't go. I'm working on twice a month. Will let you know how that goes.
Wha? … you did that math in your head? While driving? Alexa and her kind have rendered my brain STUPID! My mom used to do the same thing and fill her tank when it became half-full; isn't that supposed to be better for its engine life? I'll keep you in mind next time I start to gripe over our $2.55/gallon. So glad I'm not driving 300-plus miles each week anymore!
The blue on the truck is a beautiful shade. Yes, gas is expensive but I don't really want to walk so I keep on paying.
Sandra...are you in Hurricane Michael's path?
Wow...love seeing the glimpes of your neighborhood!
Also wondering if you are going to get rain from Michael??
Those skies are so blue! Ours have been gray and rainy for a couple weeks. Our gas is 2.99/gallon in case you want another math problem. To Eau Claire, 45 miles. I think we get about 23 mpg. So about $6. This is why we don't run around a lot. I heard that someone is proposing a huge increase on gasoline tax. Glad you're happy that your neighbor is staying.
