Walk A Mile A Day #1

Most of you go walkabout in the woods or past farms or down trails. My walkabout is in a neighborhood full of houses and trees and cars that match the owners chairs. While Jake was so sick, and then for a week after he died, we could not stand the house. We walked together at the park, and I have started walking a mile or more in the neighborhood surrounding our house. I have about 6 post I will share once in a while, this is the 1st.

I did not know that you were supposed to color coordinate your cars and chairs. I'm going to be needing some spray paint.

I have to call Maaco & have them paint my car like a Texas flag then! (Our chairs are the folding nylon kind...the Lone star!!)

Hello,

That is a neat looking car, I love the blue color. Walking is good exercise, hubby and I try to get out every day weather permitting.

Enjoy your day!

You will get even skinnier! The first picture is beautiful. I love the pretty sky blue chairs and beautiful tree. And the chairs DO match the car! How cool! I would never have thought of that.

A neighbourhood walk can be every bit as rewarding as in a forest or on a beach! YAM xx

Just this morning I woke up thinking I need to get back to my neighbourhood walks. Thanks for your timely post. I shall remind myself that Sandra suggested walks and get on with it. I need the reminders like this as I slip from my routine so easily and invent excuses.

No wonder you're so slim! Aside from our Thursday-in-the-park walkabouts, I've become disgustingly sedentary. Praying for temps to drop! Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to more photos from your neighborhood.

Nice to have some shade to walk in - do you take Big Boy? And what color is your house - car - and chairs?

That's exactly what I need to start doing. I'm riding a mile on my recumbent bike each day.
