Walk A Mile A Day

It's hard to get bored with all these pieces of beauty to look at while walking.

I am getting a MOVE On...getting into my Stride...

How much walking do you do?
Do you do other exercise? Besides my walking, I do the pool at the Y 5 days a week and a little dancing to YouTube videos

Inactivity is our Enemy.... my new motto....

I am glad you can walk and do so much! And maybe you will be finding new photos to post. The palm trees are gorgeous! We have none, of course.

Good for you getting all that exercise. I want to but just can't get myself to do any of it. When I go to work that's about the extent of my exercise

Good morning,

You are doing great between the swimming and walking. I love the pretty palm trees and plants. I will have to get back into my treadmill groove, this weather is awful for walking outside. Have a happy day!

EXERCISE? That is such an ugly word! Nope, I don't exercise or even walk. I have been thinking of starting back at it though....we will see. But it is fun to walk the hood and see the different sites.

I love seeing the 'hood & the pretty landscaping. I try and walk 10000 steps [3 miles] a day. If not every day I try to make sure my walking averages 35000 steps a week. Most times I hit my target goal.

As for other exercise, I have a stationary bike. More a dust collector these days.

Me? Swim? I can't barely float.

Girl your are right - inactivity is our ENEMY - now I am a big girl - but I do exercise every morning after Andy leaves for school. I do weights - stretch and - ride my bike... I feel so much better - my problem is doing it during the summer when I don't have to get up - then it is harder to force myself to do it.

Oh, I need that plant hanger in slide #1!!! I'm doing better -- 2x miles each Thursday in the park + swimming twice a week. But that pales in comparison to your discipline.

Given that I'm not working, there's no reason I can't step up my walks in the park.

We walk at least an hour every week day...~7,000 steps.
Recumbent bike on weekends!
Use it or lose it

I am so bad at the exercise thing. I must get back into it for my own good. If I don't walk my hips start to ache. Been using hubby's gout attack as an excuse...bad, bad, bad...shame on me.....

What a beautiful neighborhood! I love to walk or take a nice hike on the local trails. I also do exercises for my knee and occasional yoga.

It's very nice seeing all these sights you see thanks to you sharing them. We try to get out and walk as much as we can, and both enjoy walking. Not as avid as some hikers but it is good to get out.

Thanks for the walking tour in the neighborhood, Sandra. I try to walk every day and Fitbit goal is set at 8,500 steps which are sometimes less and sometimes more (like today at 12,775). I use the tradmill in the gymn here and sometimes the stationary bike as well as the elliptical.

You are very active and that is so wonderful. I ride my recumbent back daily but need to start walking too!

You do indeed have pretty things to snap photos of on your walks sweet Sandra. I have been lax in my exercising with all the rain we have had but you are encouraging me to get back to it! Hugs
