Waiting on a Friend

I drove a friend to her doctors appointment and while waiting on her, just happened to snap a few shots with my phone.

The ceiling was 2 floors high, the offices did not go all the way to the ceiling. With the conversations I overheard from the people inside those offices, I am now wondering if the exam rooms had ceilings. This is a Women's Resource Building, as in GYN... hummm.
One conversation was with the IT guy/gal...

Something like this. I came in and booted up my compuer and NOTHING, just a screen, then it did strange things and POOF! all of it was gone. there was more but I can't remember. It was hilarious. I have been on the end of the person calling IT and trying to explain to the geeks what the computer is doing or not doing.  Just more free entertainment. I did not even have to read in my kindle.

The lime green chair was Bright Lime and the one that looks Red was bright Orange., I loved them.

You are never bored! I love that! Our dentist office is that way with the walls not touching the ceilings. I heard more than I wanted to on every visit!

LOL... oh the IT convo had me giggling, slightly manicly, due to my being in the middle of trying to sort out my cousin's home IT situation. To say 'mess' would be to understate things somewhat! Ta for the laugh. YAM xx

So glad you were able to go with your friend for her appointment. I'm sure she appreciated it and the waiting room looks comfortable. I've decided I'm not going to use my mobile phone even though it's convenient to read my blog posts. One touch of the screen and I lose blog friends' comments.

That is quite possibly the biggest waiting room I have ever seen. It's a rather interesting building with the walls not going all the way to the ceiling. I don't know if I would like everyone being able to hear what's going on in all of them. Of course in your case it provided entertainment.

Hello,

It is a pretty and modern looking waiting room. I guess they do not worry about privacy? At least you were entertained while waiting for your friend.
Have a happy day!

Oh, Sandra, we are alike...I sat at McD's yesterday and listened to this old guy tell stories...the only thing, I wish I had had a way of recording them. And I know there is an app for that, but I have got to find it.

What a pretty medical office such clean lines. As for the 3/4 walls NO thank you. Ironically while walking today we passed by a car with the windows rolled up. A lady was sitting in it talking on the phone and we could hear every word. She was saying very odd. Was there a microphone on the outside of her car?

Pretty lobby! But that's an odd-looking office within; like an adobe hut or something. When I worked for the Clearwater CPA, there existed the same kind of sound-proofLESS rooms. Finally, my boss found an inexpensive white-noise machine she'd set up in the conference room when meeting with clients.

A really beautiful doctor's office but I don't think I like the walls not going all the way up...A little privacy goes a long way.
That lime green and orange chair really brighten up the place.
Per your comment on my blog...yes we did have lots of crazy conversation on the way up to Oregon...coming home...not much..too sick with the flu.
While we were there visiting, all the girls were in Steve's car and they sang and just plain had fun getting to know each other..Hubby and I rode in son Mark's car with just his wife...loved our time alone with them. Time to ask some questions and catch up on life for them. God's perfect plan. Some of it was just peace and quiet...which Mark and Kellie needed badly.

That's a lovely building. I would certainly want ceiling in the rooms. I talk loud, everyone would hear me!!

Wow, I have never been in a doctor's office like that before. Is it a new construction? It looks new. Don't think I would like to sit in an office without a ceiling, knowing that our conversations may be heard over the top. I chuckled at the conversation you overheard. It is hard not to listen to people when they are speaking on the phone, or through the computer. Voices tend to get louder on those things anyhow.

I bet you could have gone in and helped the person with her computer. What I'm wondering is: where are the rest of the patients?
