All About The Focus

Sitting by the pool, enjoying the green in our neighbors yard, I zoomed and focused first on the new green pine needles, then on the 20 foot tall Bird of Paradise. It's all about the focus.

A Triple PUN
There is a ranch in Texas named "Focus."
The rancher on this farm has three sons, who feed the cattle and mend the fences and make sure that the cattle make it to market.
When asked why he named his ranch Focus, the rancher replied,
"because that's where the sun's rays meet"  It's also where the "sons raise meat."

That's a great pun! I LOVE pine needles! When I was in grade school at recess I'd go sit by myself at the bottom of a tree and try making the tips stick back in the other end (brown gooey part) and see how many loops I could fashion into a bracelet. (Weird kid.)

Very cute pun! I cannot change focus like this, because I only use the automatic setting, plus a few others. I could never work one of those fancy cameras, too much to learn. Your mind is like a computer.. How are you doing with the new bridge camera like mine? O.K., a few years old, but still new in my mind.

Love it!!
It is all about focus for sure...
Reading in my devotions this morning was all about Faith..by Faith Abraham...By Faith Noah....By Faith Moses...I had been fretting about something I have to do next month and letting all the things that could go wrong get the best of me, worry worry worry...
As it says in Hebrews 11:39-40...God has a better plan for us:
So I am preaching to myself and saying to me...God has a plan and I will go through it His way.
Thanks for putting meaning to Focus and the road ahead.

That's a fun pun, thanks for the chuckle. Love your photos and it is very interesting how different focus points can give depth to the others.

Focus makes all the difference, not only on our pictures but also in our life.

Clever photography! I wish I could do what you do technically with a camera.

I came over from Myra's and am now following you. You have some amazing photos. I like the ranch story. I am happy to see so many still blogging. I can not take too much of the social media. Too many mean people ! Always enjoyed blogging and getting back into it daily. It is cold and rainy here so I am enjoying pouring a cup of hot tea and reading blog posts. Have a great week!
