Necessities

You butter believe this will never happen again... their is a rumor I want to spread, It may sound nutty but I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!

For the first time in my life I ran out of PEANUT BUTTER. This jar had barely enough for a half English muffin. NO PROBLEM I always have an extra one. NOOO! the spot it lives in was empty.

These two foods are NECESSARY.. I have both every single day of my life.
I put a spoon of PB in my oatmeal, eat it on bagel, English muffin, toast, saltines. I have it daily either for breakfast or supper. (dinner to some)
As a child if mother cooked birds that daddy killed while hunting, while crying I had a peanut butters sandwich. If she forgot to remove my portion from ANYTHING she put onions in, I had peanut butter. My kids were raised on PBJ.
my hurricane supplies include 3 jars of Jif and 3 of Smuckers and many boxes of no salt on top Saltines...Bottled water and a few jars of jelly and we are ready.

I could not blame Bob, he eats JIF only... How did I let my hurricane supplies be depleted, I had 2 of Jif. I don't eat Jif, it has sugar in it.

How did this happen? The answer is Wal-Mart has been remodeling for 3 months, I could find NOTHING.. prior to that, as I walked the aisles in order, I would SEE the peanut butter and grab one. out of sight out of mind.
Don't Panic! I now have one open and 2 back ups. The good news was, when I went to get it, it was ON SALE...
Do you have food or drink that are necessary each day?

Putting it in your oatmeal sounds good, I will try that. I just read a list, I think from Prevention, of the healthiest peanut butters. Number 1 is Smuckers with honey. Also Justin's is on the list. I cannot do without coffee. What little critter lives in the mug tunnel? So cute! A mole maybe?

The is so funny but understandable. I went through a craze of having Peanut Butter scraped on the top of a banana. Take a bite and put another scrape on. It's delicious.

Peanut butter is one of my favorite things. I'm not real picky about what brand.
I hate when the stores are remodeling and start moving things around. I was in one the other day and it looks like they are in the middle of changing things around

Jif low sodium Peanut Butter plays into my daily equation. As a plant protein with zero cholesterol and only 2 sugars it plays a role in the health and function of my digestive tract.

Now if I could only control 'fight or flight'. That mental challenge contributes to my high blood glucose more than any nutrient intake control I might attempt, sigh.

Ohhhh MS as always you amaze and delight me with your originality and necessities. I'm not sure which I like best a wee bit of chocolate on my peanut butter or a wee bit of peanut butter on my chocolate
I like your cup

I am not a fan of PBJ sandwiches...too many when I was a kid. However, I LOVE peanutbutter on saltines with a big glass of ice water. It has to be full of ice...one of the best snacks there is. Don't ask me when I discovered that, but I do love it.

You don't want to hear the foods I cannot live without. None are healthy...well, hardly any. And I did manage to live the past two years without homegrown tomatoes...but it is very hard. And of course I don't get them in winter, but normally I dream of them all winter long...LOL

Peanut Butter is always good to keep on hand and I am actually enjoying these natural brands much better than the good old Jif though I do like the texture of Jif. Less sugar wins.

Back early w/ an hour left to kill before my wellness (or not) exam. :)

You are SO disciplined! JIF (x-crunchy) is one of my trigger foods. I love it so much, but - like an alcoholic - if I taste even a teaspoon, I can't/won't stop. Hmmm, I just Googled 'your' PB nutrition label and the carb count is pretty reasonable. Tom still calls his evening meal "dinner" but I'm a "supper" gal myself.

Sunday Dinner and the rest of the week it's Supper....
I do love peanut butter but have to go really easy on it because of my glucose levels.
Absolutely love English Muffins and am not suppose to have them because of the Drs. directions for no flour, no fruit.
I have to admit I do cheat now and then since I have lost so much weight.
My go to...every morning is 2 eggs fried in a bit of real butter, sliced mushrooms and a cup of coffee. Every morning for the last year or so. It's a great protein blast in the morning.
Love that mug of yours too.

Hahahahaa!! I can relate! Whenever we run out of ANYTHING - we tend to overstock so that doesn't happen again and then we invariably run OUT sooner or later! Our must haves include PB....and saltines WITH the salt.....and coffee/tea/wine. All three!! We ran out of wine and when we stocked back up the checker asked us if we were having a party!! Nope! Just ran out of wine. When we ran out pf Louis Dean's coffee, I bought it everytime I was in a store - and so did he! You can never have too much tea!!

I love peanut butter but I was 25 when I first tried it. New husband made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and I loved it, still do. I am going to try it on my oatmeal next time I fix it.

My daily food would be milk.

I have four jars of my PB in the cabinet. I definitely have to try it in Oatmeal. I like it in my Greek yogurt. I can't think of anything that I must have daily except my medications. However there are always fresh berries, fresh veggies, salad and hummus in the house.

Okay - I must eat peanut butter with sugar in it. Does the one you use really taste good? I use Skippy.
And I have to have one cup of strong coffee first thing or I don't function!
