Sunrise Walk

Summer heat is killing me and it is only MAY..... I started doing my walking at 6:30 am, as soon as we get home from the YMCA.
This is what I see while walking. the sun is beautiful as long as it is below the horizon...THEY said this morning that we are going to have a heat wave starting tomorrow. So what have we been having? For now, it sure is worth the walk to see this...
I'm walking on in sunshine...this could be my SOL-mate!
today is Sunday, a day named after the SUN, right?  Light up Your World with smiles.

I don't know how you manage with that heat, it's bad enough when we get a 'heatwave' here and I'm sure its nothing like yours. I melt.

Oh yes do I agree 100%. We have 90's + predicted thru next week and no rain.
Hot days like this I prefer clouds on any day.

Our weather has been so funny. We had hot days then really cool last week. Yesterday 90 degrees. Hoping it don't get really hot here this summer I can't take that heat. It just seems to SUCK what little get up and go I have out of me! Love the sky pic. I love also that you have done so great at the weight and the exercise. You are rocking it. As for the farm babes, yes it is nice not be living on a farm. WAY TO MUCH work to do and KEEP UP. I do however try to help out when I can. Chris has a full time job and then works on mowers on the side. I go and try to help cut the grass, move wood shavings in the riding ring, I feed the pigs and barn cats (his). I can't do much as you know but I do try to help out. I have told him if he would get some paint I would paint the inside hall of the barn. But...better then having to do it everyday.

Here, it's raining, raining, and raining some more. So unusual for May. And it's cold too, it may even snow later in the week. Just some flakes, I imagine, not the real thing. Even I am longing for some SOL, which is sun in Swedish. Have a great day. Sure started well.

How gorgeous! The sun is actually framed by a yellow cloud! It is to be nearly 90 today! We went to Dara's soccer game yesterday, and people had umbrellas to protect them from the sun. So did we. But still, I only lasted for half the game, and had to watch the rest from our air conditioned car. Never really did get cool enough the rest of the day. The weather has been crazy all year.

And this is why I am so not looking forward to the end of the first leg of this current road trip. It ends in FL and then we return to NH and will surely also pass thru more warm states. Keep as cool as you can, Sandra.

That sky is truly magnificent...God's handiwork.
We have seen nothing but rain for the last two days and chilly too.
I wish I could pass some of that along to you.
The weatherman says MAYBE by next weekend we will get up to 80F.
We have had many birds in our backyard. The mulberry tree is in full fruit mode.
Lots of drunken robins and a few that I don't know the names of. Gotta get out my book and do some research.

Beautiful! That's my favorite time of day!
I've backed my walking time to 7, but for the same reason as you, may adjust to 6:30. I also keep a small towel around my neck, but I'm thinking of getting one of those cooling pad thingies. By chance, have you used one?

Beautiful scene. I don't know how I would exist in that heat. Now, mind you, I don't like our cold spring we are having.

I have a feeling that the heat is going to kill me this year. So far it hasn't been too bad but today it got up to 83. Thankfully there was a breeze that kept it feeling cooler.
That sure is a pretty sky

A beautiful sky. It was hot here yesterday, 87 deg. F. It will be the same for the next few days.

A wonderful sky. We had relatively warm weather here yesterday compared with your heat and it was wonderful. I know that walking for you has to be done early in the morning or later in the day when it's cooler.
