What..Why..

Those of you who follow me, know I gave up Sugar in January of 2017. What does that have to do with my new Tea Kettle? The cup you see above, was given to me as a prize for weight loss.

The Why factor came when I discovered Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate with no added sugar. That was about 4 months ago. I drink it in the glass cup as my last food of each day. It satisfies the sugar and chocolate desires and does no harm.
I have been heating water in a small pan and pouring it in.
I decided it was dangerous using the pan, for me the Senior and our Senior Dog.
I give you my new whistling hot chocolate kettle.

Why so many photos? because I pipped my  kettle with my Samsung tablet, Just Because I could...

It is very cute, and kid of retro looking. I bet you got it at W.M. I love hearing about different products people use or eat!

It's a good idea to use a kettle instead of a pan. It's a nice design and fun to hear the whistling sound when you make your drink.

Once upon a time I had a whistling kettle, but not as pretty as yours. Nowadays (probably since at least 25 years or so) I use an electric kettle. It does not whistle but it boils the water quickly and noisily and then turns itself off! (I've had at least two electric ones before the one I have now)

I used to be a big tea drinker and always had a tea kettle. The last one I had sort of wore out and I never replaced it. I saw some in Walmart the last time I was there and thought about getting a new one.

Hello,

I like your shiny new kettle. I use a tea kettle to make my green tea sometimes. The hot chocolate sounds yummy. Enjoy your day!

I like your pretty kettle! We have to do so many things to help us along these days...like using timers for everything! lol It's good to find a few 'sweet treats' that don't have sugar. I've just tried Jello instant pudding...sugar free. I add a half banana in a serving and have banana pudding. It's so yummy for a change! Enjoy your weekend! It's HOT!!!

I just Googled that hot chocolate, but its carb count is a bit high for me. Love that teakettle and glass mug. (Makes me think of the Irish Coffee drinks TGIFriday used to make.) My mom always kept a teakettle on her stovetop... particularly during winter months to humidify the apartment.

You crack me up! But hey, congratulations on your giving up sugar and the positive results you are seeing! Love your photo creativiness and that is a might fine tea kettle. I use a electric one. just fill it up with water, plug it in and seconds later, hot piping water.

Your tea kettle is so bright and shiny.
Mine looks like it's gone through the war.
I cannot get it pristine any longer.
We use ours every day for tea and when I'm lazy...instant coffee. It sits on our stove top all the time.
Much safer than a pot boiling.
We got ours at Ikea but it looks just like yours.
Got on the scale this morning and finally broke the 160 barrier...
Hope I can stay there and not become a yo yo again.
Thinking of you today. (:0)

Good point on getting the water kettle. Glad you found something you enjoy and satisfies the need for chocolate.

I love drinking hot chocolate but only have it in the cold weather months, always when I have been outside and I am chilled to the bone. Nothing better to warm up on for me that is. Maybe it is a childhood thing. Like your new kettle and what you did with it.
