This giant perfect avocado fell from our tree, and split open.. Bob wanted to save it until it ripened and I said put duct tape on it.   He came in from the garage with ORANGE duct tape on it. I grabbed it and sat it on a plate and took these photos.
He said if they want to know WHY my duct tape is ORANGE, tell them it is to mark the bottom of my plane so I can tell if they are upside down when flying.  We have an appointment soon with the eye doctor. 😍

He did get to eat about a third of it.

Hello,

I could see the tape, I could not figure out the Avocado. I am glad Bob was able to save some of it to eat. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

I knew it to be an avocado - but wondered what fab new wrapping invention the supermarket had devised! Instead, it was a fab new save the day invention by the Snapper Crew. Well done!!! YAM xx

Bahahaha!
Your is a great idea ... I never would have thought of wrapping it. I think the last picture (on the right) looks like a strip of prosciutto.

That was a hoot! He marks the top and bottom of his plane - I can relate to that. And boy he does love his avocados!

Ah yes duct tape is really very versatile. We once bought shiny black to patch a part of a loose car fender so we could drive the car to the repair shop and it did the job very well though we did look a bit odd taping the car outside of dollar store where we bought the tape. We had to drive 180km back home on the highway. Why? We were in Niagara when hubby damaged his car along a planter he failed to see. He has eye surgery on October 10 the first of two.

At the price of teeny tiny avocados, you have a real treasure on your plate...

My Hubby goes to the eye Doc. on the 9th..

Strange! BUT...I GUESSED it!!! I thought the duct tape was some kind of packaging from the grocery store, but I guessed the avocado. Unfortunately, food is my THANG!!!

Adam and Gabby's tree is very old and giant and I wish he would get me some avocados off of it.

I could not tell what it was, that is so funny and gave me a big laugh. Want to let you know sweet Sandra that I am closing all of my blogs. I no longer have anything to blog about and have found other interests. I will visit your blog still off and on. Thank you for being a faithful follower of all my blogs over the years. Big hug

Your photos are full of shadows :) Love them! Clever trick of Bob's to use it on the bottom of his plane. And clever you for taking such great photos.
