La Casa de Zoe 1

OOPS! Zoe part 2 posted yesterday which leaves today's part 1 After the pretty stuff. if you missed yesterday, that is where the ART is... my mind once again played switcharoo in blogger.

This Private residence is my most favorite of all the occupied homes in the Village of the Arts.
There is so much art in the yard, I will have one more post. I love the live palms, but the yard if full of metal sculptured palms. I LOVE THOSE PALMS.  The cedar tree is full of hanging art.

We had a cool day on Friday, woke up to 73 and the high was still only 75 at lunch time, low humidty. AC was turned off at midnight and stayed off all day. YAY!

See what I mean about the palms? the house next door is Pink, this house is multicolored, mostly blue

Those palm trees are very cool. Interesting art on the gate too. I'm guessing that's supposed to be a fish?

Hello,

I love all the palms, the real ones and the metal ones. What a cute place. I just noticed the legs sticking up out of the ground. There is so much to see there. So glad you had a nice weather day. Enjoy your day!

Yes, I noticed the palms yesterday but those shadows caught my eye and I did not fully appreciate everything else. Wonder what is in the backyard.

I started to comment on those metal palms yesterday! That last pix is so cool; but I wonder if they're not treated with something to prevent rust?

Suspicious me …. I wonder if the residents aren't concerned about after-hours looting?

Whoa baby that private resident use all the colors in a box of 64 crayola Crayons. Just wondering if folks would tend to wander up to the house and that is why they have private residence on the sign out front.

I like this house too. You know those Palms and other things are very expensive! Hey do you all have heaters there or is it a/c all year?

I wonder what kind of people live there? Have you ever met or seen them? I imagine they are a lot of fun! Creative, imaginative and I’m assuming kind hearted. They must be generous in spirit since they decorate so much outside knowing it will make people smile.

Awesome, I love seeing new shots of it! I see the wicked witch. Wonder if that is a nod to Halloween, or she is there all year round? Because I see a big fat polka dot pumpkin!! Yes, I love the metal palms for sure. They are so elegant, and the leaves still remind me just a tad of wings. I am amazed that this is a private residence!! I had thought it was maybe some kind or art workshop or school. I wonder how much they get bothered? I like the tall skinny red, white, and blue pole. Looks like a cross between a flagpole and a totem pole. All the little glass bottles...I have ones like this on our kitchen windowsill. I will take some shots of them when the sun comes out, first I have to wash them. These are so much fun for me just to hunt for things.

I think my favorite thing is the "Wicked Witch" legs pointing up to the sky. I guess I am just too conservative to ever put that in my garden but I do love it, and those palms with the coconuts are fantastic.
So glad you had a cool day yesterday...no AC...amazing !!

The palms are definitely my favorite. There is a dog hospital off the freeway that has sculptures similar in color to the palms. The have a beautiful giraffe you can see when your on the freeway. Glad you are getting some cooler weather. We are going to be 97 today.

These places are fun to look at and get pictures, but honestly, I would not want that on my yard or live in a house that colourful.

After reading this post or rather looking at the photos, I had to go to the previous post as I hadn’t seen all the artwork. It’s quite an amazing hiuse, but definitely nit one I want to live in...too much upkeep😉
