Dew Drops On Nature Friday

While weighing myself on the scales in the kitchen, I felt a droplet hit my arm.
I water this plant every Saturday morning and all through the week, it drips from leaf tips and cuts where I trimmed it.

Dew Drops in my kitchen, makes me happy! I have noticed this plant never needs dusting, unlike fake plants .
Joining In Nature Friday from my kitchen.

This past Saturday, I put the 2 cups of water in the plant, and realized I had NOT swept the kitchen first which is my routine.
The dirt by the door got damp from dripping water, which when routine is followed.
My personal Mop Guy mops the kitchen, after I sweep dirt and dog hair.
This time the broom smeared and you know The Rest Of The Story

I find it fascinating that it does not need to be dusted like plastic! This makes me think that I need to post my plants! I have two basil and six succulents

I have one of these plants. Wade brought it with him when he first moved in here. I don't know how long before that he had it. Mine doesn't ever get drops on it like that or at least I've never seen them. I'm just surprised that it's still alive because I'm horrible with plants.

Needless to say being married to the RG (retired gardener) there are plants all around the house in various stages of life but I never noted that they don't collect dust---never too old to learn. (or observe) And since artificial plants are a no-no atMuldoon---no additional dust to contend with. Win - Win.

We have had a 'philli' plant in our bathroom for more years than I can remember. We keep it trimmed but I too have never noticed any dripping---interesting. They are one of the easiest houseplants to maintain; not requiring an abundance of light.

Oops! How love that precious, precarious dew drop.

Sadly, a few months ago Linda (my philodendron) went into shock and died after I tried repotting it. If I should see anything like yours, for sure I'll snatch it up!
