Breaking News

Breaking NEWS!!! I had no post on auto, did not feel like thinking or even like breathing, that's even if I could breathe..

Bob and I have been Ill with something not a cold, not the flu. We are pretty sure he brought it home from the surgeons office since it happened on the 3rd day after we visited the office.  On Bob's 3rd day I developed the same thing.
Symptoms were 1st day dry cough, scratchy throat, 2nd day someone turned a spigot on that ran clear liquids CONSTANLY out the nose and down the throat. No fever, and a headache.

The only way to sleep at night was Nyquil... God bless that bottle of whatever that knocked us out for a few hours.

On the 3rd day I sat in the rocker with water streaming from my eyes, down my cheeks, from my nose and down the throat.

I said.. I feel like I am being waterboarded by Niagara Falls!

 Bob said EXACTLY!

we are both better but not 100 % but I feel lost if I don't have contact with all of you. and now I am adding more breaking news as an UPDATE!
Bob's Melanoma surgery showed all margins clear and that the cancer was in the SKIN ONLY and all was removed. Thank You Lord!

Wonderful news! I hope you are all well soon. Three days seems to be the right incubation period for quite a few maladies. That Nyquil is great stuff!!

I am so happy to read that everything went well with Bob's operation!
I don't know the medication, but I am happy that it helps!
God bless you! I hope you are all well soon!
Hugs for you!

That sounds like a good old fashioned rhinitis type of cold. The kind we used to get before everything became some kind of 'flu' (thus diminishing true influenza and giving the drug companies something to push). Be better soonest - and hoorah for Bob's news! YAM xx

Awesome news about Bobs surgery. I hope you are both 100% soon. It's just no fun feeling sick no matter what the symptoms. Nyquil used to be my go to medicine when I was sick but can't seem to take it any more

Thanks for the update on Bob and hope you both feel better soon. My husband has some similar symptoms this past week and thankfully has not shared with me. He also relies on Nyquil generic substitute to sleep at night.

PTL on Bob's health report! As for the rest of it, let your bodies heal. The routine 'stuff' will still be there when you recover. But that's whats important---recovering.
My latest favorite saying. 'I love work. It fascinates me. I can sit and watch it all day'

Doing a happy dance (in my chair) about news from Bob's doc!
… Not so much about the two of you feeling so yukky. There's so much scary stuff floating around, makes a body seriously consider becoming a recluse. Monday morning while at Bible study, here walks in a gal who - just 4 days before - shared on FB about being diagnosed with the flu. Despite myself, I did an involuntary back away. Glad yours isn't the flu, and appreciate you sharing your symptoms.

Although I immediately began to worry when you said you both were not feeling well, and then smiled when you both rebounded, thanks to Bob’s positive test results, my smile grew even more!....:)jp

I am so sorry to hear that you are both unwell. We have never been squeamish about getting ill but recently we have been applying sanitizor to our hands each time we go any where in the hope it will help stop us getting any bugs.
We don't just bounce back now like we used to when ill.
Such brilliant news about Bob's skin though, sure you must both have been over the moon at the news.
Get well soon both of you.
Hugs

I'm so glad that Bob agreed to get to the dr. and it has all turned out well...
Boo on the "cold" how miserable for both of you.
Niagara Falls is such an apt illustration...
Take care and get well!!

THANK YOU LORD FOR BOB And HIS RESULTS - I AM THRILLED.

I am so sorry you were that sick - I had no idea.

Which brings me to the 'waterboard' I didn't know that was what it meant at all.

I learn something new every day!
Thanks.
Fell Better!

I hope that both of you feel better very soon. But most of all, I am so glad that Bob's melanoma was all excised. That is the best news that I can imagine.

Thanks for your kind comments about R. It's sure been a hard time.
