CUP story Trivia

My Coffee Cup of choice since 2011, is the Gopher It Cup in these photos, story in prior post HERE

Important update.
Did you know if the coffee pot is OFF and you want to heat a cup in the microwave,
If you add cream and sweeteners before heating it tastes awful.

If you heat it black and then add it is delish.
Today, I added the sweeteners and creamer in the Gopher Cup! and thought Drat!

Then I thought, put the black coffee in the one with the brown top, heat it and pour it in the Gopher cup  on top of the  sweeteners/creamer!
I did!
The POINT of this Cup Story is, I like the bottom one better, but do not use it because the gopher cup has a BIGGER handle.

Guess what? Now that I am down 67 pounds, my fingers fit really well in the brown cup.
This reminded me to tell you
A. Weight loss makes your eye glasses to big on your face (easier to fall off face)

B. Weight loss makes your sandals slip and slide on your feet

C. Weight loss makes your fingers fit in smaller holes.

WRITE THIS DOWN! You may need to know it in the future. You know for TRIVIA fun.

BUT Wait There's MORE to this story, coming Soon

A complicated way to enjoy your coffee. Great weight loss achievement. The side effects are worth it.

Hello,
I like my coffee just black, maybe a little sugar. Congrats on your weight loss, that is awesome! Have a happy day and weekend!

I always put my sweetener and creamer in my coffee after I microwave but now I'm curious about how it will taste if I do it before.
I would gladly put up with my glasses falling off, my sandals sliding and my fingers fitting in smaller holes. 67 pounds is an accomplishment to be proud of

LOL What a great cup of java story. I love the lip on your cup. Well done on the 67 lbs!!!
Clapping wildly as I know it is very hard to do especially in these days in which we are living.

Good to know! I just drink mine black, but a couple times I've added cream and sugar to the bottom of Tom's cup before the coffee ... he never said anything, but I'm going to ask him once he comes fully awake. (Unlike chatty-Cathy me, it takes him 2-3 cups before acting pleasant.)

You've reminded me of a post I did years ago about my coffee cups. With the exception of my 'Tuesday' mug, everyone has a memory attached. Sooo wish I'd have bought one at Cracker Barrel to commemorate our lunch at Cracker Barrel. Next time!

HaHa...Love the "Did you know what weight loss does" info..
Those elusive pounds are a constant battle for me..Had some pasta the other night plus a piece of toast with my very own jam on it...
Delicious but I have paid the price on the scale..I just can't have any fun at all....
Moan and groan...
Sorry
Sue
PS..I remember our conversations about cups and what we like and don't like about them. Isn't it funny how we gravitate towards one special one all the time?

I always put my milk in the coffee before I heat it up i the microwave and I haven't noticed how it tastes, but after this lesson in coffee and cup I will pay more attention next time.

Hi Sandra, I clicked the link on the older post. Loved it ! I am so particular about my coffee/tea mugs. They have to be just "so" and yes, the handle has to be comfortable. I don't drink coffee; only bush (herb) tea, black and bitter, but oh boy, it has to be made right. Mmmm. Wishing you a great Sunday when it starts for you. Jo

Hi again, Sandra. I meant to congratulate you again on, not only losing all that weight, but MAINTAINING a healthy goal weight all these months/years already. I have become so involved in digital weight loss support and coaching. It has been my mainstay over our 112 day lockdown period. I have a large virtual group while still leading five other groups of 80-odd original members online. Now being tied to my bed (literally, with a vacuum pump aiding healing of the wound) I am very grateful for the new procedures and platforms with which to help people out there lose weight and regain their health. Be safe and keep well. Jo

I take my coffee black, so it wouldn’t matter how I heat my coffee.

I don't know why, but I don't drink coffee. Never have. My husband don't drink coffee either. He never has either. I've been told that I make the best coffee when I worked at a law office that from time to time I had to make coffee! lol I think they just didn't want to make it. lol

I do have a favorite cup to drink hot chocolate or hot tea in though. It has a peacock on it. It's a tall skinny type cup.

Yes, I did know NOT to add anything to coffee before re-heating in the microwave and also learned the "hard" way, Sandra. Thanks for letting me know all the up-sides to weight loss as I have a way to go and now things to look forward to!

I didn't know that about reheating it with your creamer in the microwave. I'm so happy you have lost all that weight. I wish I could but right now I'm just not in the mood. However I have not gained any weight in six years.
