Does It Matter?

I rather do the dishes MYSELF! Top is how I stand the plates, below is how Bob stands the plates.
You may be asking, Does It Matter?
YES it does, the rest of the dishes will not fit in, each thing has its own place to make it all fit..
It is a puzzle, the dishes must FIT!

Lest you be thinking, at least he did the dishes. WELL, all he did was HIS breakfast dishes, he did not clean the sink or wipe the counters, or wipe the sausage grease off the stove.

I am a Move out of my way and let me do it person! How about you?

Hubby and I take turn doing dish. Or, sometimes he'll dry and I'll wash. Or the other way around. But since you asked, I'm all for Tim doing dishes or folding laundry. I don't care if it's the same way or a different way. It's all good.

Happy New Week to you!

Not only that, the way he pts them in, they do not have any air space in between and will not DRY! I also will not stack wet dishes, the ones on the bottom stay wet. That breeds germs. I cook and Phil does the dishes. He does a better job than Bob, but I still check and sometimes re-arrange them.

Hubby and I take turns in the kitchen with cooking and washing up. I don't mind how hubby stacks the plates as he does the chore the same way as I do and I'm happy it gets done. I like to clean the counters and oven hob myself though. Hubby deep cleans the oven which is not my favourite job in the kitchen.

When Mac1 comes to relieve me for cares, I try to maintain control of the kitchen - cos we are opposite ends of the tidy and hygienic spectrum!!! YAM xx

Hello,

My hubby does not mind doing the dishes. I do usually go behind him to wipe everything down.. His eyes seem to miss a few things here and there. Have a great day!

I stack them the way you do and you're right there is a correct order to put them in.
Wade didn't do dishes very often and when he did I would always find ones that needed to be rewashed.

I cook, Bud cleans up. Then, I go in behind him and clean it up my way.

I sense a pattern of behaviors here and my comment would be an instant repeat---haha.

Hahaha ... yes, it DOES matter. The thing that bugs me, Tom's OCD about drying the dishes as soon as they're washed. Because I HATE to dry, I've no problem letting them hang out in the rack. He doesn't mean to, but when he does that I feel guilty like a Bad Betty Crocker.

Well if my B washed the dishes I'd need CPR. He does however put them in the dishwasher and does a decent job. My only complaint is he puts the utensils
ANY where. I like the forks, knives, spoons in their own space. When unloading it is much more efficient to get all of each item at one time not have them all mixed together. AND might I am the official unloader.

Dave rarely does any dishes, though he will clear the table and rinse the dishes and put them in the sink.
I really do have a certain way that everything fits in the dishwasher.
When others "help" I tend to go back and rearrange it all.
I hand wash plastic and a few of my microwave pans, and things that just don't fit well in our old washer.
When I was doing all my jam prep...everything got hand washed..so sticky and juice everywhere. Clean as I go is usually my plan of action.
I just finished putting a tri-tip roast with taters and carrots in my crock pot for tonight's dinner. The house is going to smell so good in a short while.
Dave and I have another big project outside today.
We need to cut down a very spindly half dead tree. We have to be so careful that it won't fall into our neighbors house. It's not big around but tall.
Its suppose to be "cooler" today, only in the mid 90's...
Take care
Sue

I agree, get out of the way let me do it! However I've been leaving more for him to do because I'm tired of being the only one.

I must say that in the last three years or so, I have tried hard to overlook a less than tidy kitchen, because I have my son and granddaughter working in it. I do like it clean and try to keep it that way, but i also am working at not being overly fussy, so as to keep everyone happy.

I'm old fashioned and do the dishes by hand. We do have a dishwasher, have had it for about 44 years, but I use it for storage because the kitchen is small.

Thank you for the chuckle. We play this out in our house also :)

Anyone is welcome to help me in the kitchen with anything EXCEPT not cleaning the kitchen countertop or stovetop. I have to do that myself. But if they're going to load the dishwasher, take a second to run water over the plates first.
