Amazon, Hi Sandra

I LOVE TO GET THESE EMAILS!!! the Amazon driver, walks up on the porch, takes a pic and emails it. Of course I know its there because Big runs to the door and waits to see if someone will come in and pet him... He is always sad but does like to sniff the boxes and packages when I drag them in the door.

The top box was THIS... I LOVE IT

the box below was a SHARK that really Sucks! And I mean that in a good way! It is so strong it sucks fast to the carpert, also gathers dog furs from the tile floors. Our vac just died in the middle of the living room Saturday Morning. IT WAS OLD. 2 days later the new one was here.

Lightweight, only 12 pounds, the old one I could not use because of back issues. this could be a good thing or a bad thing.  We only replace things when they QUIT..

In case you are wondering why I post all this stuff, it is so I can go back in time and remember when we bought things.
Do you do that? search your blog to figure out when you did what and how?

It turns out that this was the perfect time to buy, because Bob can't vacuum this week end and I can use the new shark. He said why do you need a light weight one? I do the vacuuming. I said sometimes you can't... I was Right! Write that down! Right?

Is this a double shower head? I have never seen one like it. Was yours broken? What is the benefit? Our vacuum is lightweight too. We have a Dyson, but it is too big and heavy to use. so we got this little rechargeable one.

Parcel deliveries can be quite exciting. BB can join in watching you unpack at least. Hope you have some cooling showers with the new shower head. We got a new vacuum cleaner recently which is light weight. The only problem it came in parts you had to put together and had a different way of switching on with a foot instead of on the handle. Big household items that die on us are situations that are sent to frustrate us, but I do like my new cleaner now I've worked out how to use it 😊

I got a parcel from Amazon, the email and the photo yesterday. It wasn’t anything as exciting as yours 😊. An impulse by at 2:00 a.m. in the morning, lol! An ice cream scoop with a real pretty colored handle!!! I am trying not to order anything else in the wee hours of the morning. We had to buy a new vacuum cleaner six months ago. It is a light too and I love it compared to the big clunky model I had a hard time pushing around. It was a real old one and by the time we had had to pay for the repair, it was worth buying a new one. I like your new shower attachment too. Maybe ours will fall apart soon 😉

It wasn't recently, but I gave away my old vacuum cleaner on FreeCycle and bought a lighter-weight one. Yes, we have to be considerate of our poor old bodies. :D

Bud does the vacuuming here (99% of the time). He's always replacing the belt. Maybe I should show him your post...think he'd get the idea?

Hello,

Your new shower head looks wonderful. I have a lightweight Shark vacuum too, I love it. I do not get emails after a delivery, except later when they want a review on the product.

Have a happy day!

That shower head looks like a nice one. Do both parts spray at the same time?
I have a rechargeable Shark that Wade bought several years ago. It's ok for hard floors but I'm not crazy about it on carpets.

Oh, I forgot to say that I never get the email saying my package was delivered.

I wish I did that more with stuffing but...shoot, I just wish I kept a place that I wrote down things. I like the looks of a Shark. I have a dyson and love it for carpets..but not bare floors...simple because they did not make a good attachment for the hose.

Glad you are happy with your purchases. I sure need a lightweight vac too, but I also don't purchase anything until I absolutely have to. I've never wrote down when I buy things but I post my menu plan for the same reason. Ever went to make yourself something to eat and think When did I make this? Is it still good? Yep, I do that all the time lol. Happy vacuuming! :)

Gee, I don't recall any of our delivery guys sending proof of delivery. That's neat! Please let us know how you like the Shark? We bought an Oreck ensemble (upright + canister) back in '04 -- but like you, I've got back issues and the upright weighs a ton. My go-to is an inexpensive Bissell. What I really want is a Rumba on account I LOATHE to vacuum, but don't want to pay the Big Bucks.

Oh my goodness - this has to be a God wink. I need a new vacuum just as you describe. Would you send me the exact one? Oh my goodness that is so funny. And I know you get good deals. Does it have a cord? Thanks. sandie

I'm with you on lightweight appliances,Sandra. That new Shark vacuum looks like one I would buy if we needed one. Our current model is a lightweight Hoover that we bought in VA when our old heavier one died. It was the perfect size for storing in the apt hall closet so when it goes (hopefully not for a while) I will keep your recommendation in mind (thanks in advance). That shower head looks unique and likes a rain shower model.

Our newish vacuum is so heavy, I hate to use it. Dave does it for me most of the time.
How's the AC situation?
Tomorrow it's suppose to be over 100F and climbing. Not going to do much.
We have been cleaning out some "catch all" drawers and going through a scad of old photos which are in envelopes and just thrown together.
Picking out some for future THROWBACK THURSDAYS and FLASHBACK FRIDAYS...coming to a blog near you.
Hope Bob's recovery is going well and that the surgery is healing.

Great purchases. I get a few of those emails from Amazon each week. I just wish they would ring the doorbell too.

I don't keep records on my blog, although it would be a good place for that. I have an online journal where I enter things like that and can then do a search for them later.
