A rant, a photo, an edit and ME

HI, it's ME again... the Looney Lunapic Person  . I took my selfie to Lunapic and played and added a beveled edge which is something I just found.

I am sooooo sick of blogger changes. I changed to new blogger the first day they offered it. Have figured out most of it, then it starts to add photos in upload in XLARGE format. I always had to change to x large and got excited because now I could make them smaller.

The Catch IS... if  I leave them XL they can't be viewed on smart phone. I was shocked a few days ago when I pulled up my blog on my phone and the photos were SMOOSHED together, could  not view, if clicked on them the were to big to view...

Please let me know if you read blogs on Phone. And if you do please advise if you see SMOOSHED or to large to view photos...
I HAVE COMPLAINED to Blogger through feed back.... this photo is set on Large. waiting to see if that works.
My suggestion is stay with old until they are done adjusting the new...

I'm with you, they should thoroughly test things before they release them. Lots of luck with that!

I'm glad you noticed.

No problem with reading your blog and the photos are the right size when reading on my iPhone. I like the tint in your hair. I've gone back to using the old version of Blogger which I'll do until they sort it all out. I hope new Blogger never happens. You were right to tell them of the issue that you're having with your photos.

...even if you turn your phone to landscape? How does my blog look on your phone? (I don't have a smartphone so can't offer 'return service').

In the 'preview' of your post, you can check how your blog looks on all devices (at bottom of the screen). YAM xx

You are not saying anything that I don’t agree with Sandra as you know from my posts and rants about the so called new and improved blogger. I don’t usually read blogs on my phone As it’s too hard to see them well enough.

I don't read blogs on my phone but I checked my own from my phone and the placement of the photos were all messed up. I've had to keep switching back and forth over several different issues. It makes me wonder if they bother to test things at all before releasing them! Have a great day :)

I hope they don't shut down Legacy completely-and leave that option open to us. I really HATE the new format-the spacing issue is horrible, and when you jump down a line it takes you to small print. Awful problems. This may be the straw that breaks this camel's back and I may give up blogging. xo Diana

Well, I do look at blogs on phone most morns. I checked mine and they are not smooshed...and can click to make bigger. So, I checked yours. Your photo today can not be clicked to embiggen. But the photo in yesterdays' post could. And it was not smooshed.

I am so afraid we are going to end up loosing all our posts/ or have to pay...

If they would just make it one way till we could figure out what we are doing. It changed me to the new format just a week or two ago. I started to go back to the old blogger and it said something along the lines that it will eventually all be the new format so I just left it. The html for pics has changed twice in those two weeks.

I thought I left a comment. I KNOW I typed one...musta forgot to click publish. Blond roots showing. Love the manipulated photo. And, I mist always visit via phone. No problems with any images. But, I always open the "view web version" at the bottom of ANY blog.

LOVE this bevel edge feature!
Hmmm... I haven't noticed any SMOOCHing going on. I start my day reading blogs on my phone while in the recliner, drinking coffee. That's not to say my own experiences with the 'new' blogger haven't been without issues. Like Pandora's box -- what random hijinks can we unleash today? Makes me so cross!

I don't do blogging or read them on my phone and I will continue to use the Legacy thingy as long as I can.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Everything looks fine on my laptop and I love the beveled edges.
My phone is too old to mess around too much on it. Can't afford a new one for either Dave or I so we will keep plodding along until they die (or we do (:0).....

Well, first thungs first. I love love love this picture of you! It is so soft, which edit did you use in Lunapic? I like the beveled edge as well. i managed to find an option that delays the new blog format till toward the end of the month. I dread it. I fooled with it a bit then gave up. I hope they make Legacy availabe all the time; maybe with enough complaints they will. I never read blogs on my cell phone.

I never look at blogs on my phone so it';s no problem to me.I actually like that I can skip that step while creating a blog.I always resize my photos to X-large.

I switched when it first came out, didn't like it so I switched back. Then around the first of the month they automatically switched me to the new. I still don't like it but I'll deal with it.
I don't read blogs on the my phone. It's just too small for me. I do read on my tablet sometimes and haven't seen any issues there.

I'm not using it yet but everyone will have to in a few weeks. I don't read blogs from my phone although I have read a few that were shared on Facebook.
