It's Me Again!

Hi, it's

Bob yells down the hall:  where is the left over BBQ?

Sandra: 2nd shelf, round bowl, gray lid!

Bob: Where? I don't see it

Sandra storms down the hall and POINTS to the MIDDLE shelf, ROUND bowl (the onl round bowl we own) GRAY lid..

Same story, different day.
Bob: where is the vaseline?
Sandra: Hall closet, Middle Shelf, in the Basket where your nose drops are!
As I said it I walked to where he was staring at the basket like it would JUMP OUT and handed it to him.
Just sayin.....
To be fair, not long after I walked in the room where he lives on the sofa, and said
I need a word..
What is that thing you get on your lip that hurts really bad?
his answer was Fever Blister.
My Words are gone, but I do know where the BBQ is. For Now
PS tomorrow is SEPTEMBER! Wow! how did that happen?
I am trying to keep myself and you Smilin!!!

Do you have a fever blister? I think most men are bad at finding things around the house. But really, this is a bit much!!

August has been a really long month. I'm ready for September. Maybe some cooler nights? (wishing and hoping)

In my case it's folding towels after they come out of the dryer...Bud uses them daily, but ALWAYS puts them in the wrong bathroom! I just can't understand how he figures the green goes in the blue bath, & blue goes in the green...it's always me...going around the house & getting them all where they belong.

Meanwhile, back here on duty - have had precisely 90 minutes sleep in the last 36 hours and when dad threw a tanty this morning I was very inclined to throw a chair onto the floor... two can play at that game... YAM xx

We bought a new bbq this year and guess what ... we haven't used it yet!
We had a very bad summer and in August when the weather was nice we went on vacation! Hugs!

Hello,

September already, where did the summer go? LOL, it is the same here. I am the "finder" of all things. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a great new week!

Wade would do the same thing. He would look right at something in the cupboard and not see it.

I think our husbands might be related. Mine can NEVER find anything even if it's right in front of him. Yet we can give full detailed instruction to the exact location. Maybe we need to tell them in man directions - like now head east 7 inches lol.

LOL LOL LOL with you. After all these years it is truly amazing how things
that are always in the same spot....cannot be seen. Granted if disguised in a bowl description is necessary here too. How many 2nd shelves, blow with a gray lid are there in one fridge. That is a burning question here too.

It's a beautiful summer day in western P A and I envision time on the swing with my camera. High in the 70s predicted, ahhh

LOLOLOL. Swear, they're cut from the same cloth.
I do the same thing, forgetting the obvious -- or worse, calling it by another name. Scary, I'm turning into my mother.

Oh, this sounds so familiar. I am really bad at losing my words. And Roger is not much help.

Is it your fault when he can't find something? I think the people who do the work are also the ones who get in trouble. When they can't find something - I have moved it! No one can find anything right in front of their nose.

Nice and peaceful around here. And - I forgot to write this on Bib's blog - I think it's great that you feed him five times a day.

HaHa..it seems we all have husbands cut from the same cloth. I guess that's why they say that men are from Mars and women from Venus..or is it the other way around?
I have to admit that sometimes I get a bit snide and say ...how long have we lived here? Nothing has moved in the kitchen....argh....
Finding words is a mutual thing for us..never can get the right word..it's on the tip of my tongue.
Dave and I laugh that it takes both of our half brains to make one fairly decent functioning one...(:0)
Hang in there..September has got to be better!!!

I'm not trying to dampen your fun, but just be thankful you still have a husband who needs your help. Just saying.

Men! I may have too much stuff but I always know where things are at. Well at least I did until Saturday. I cannot find something that I knew I bought and had extra of. I gave up and are ordering the item again. Yes keep on smiling, it's all we can do!!!

Oh, this is just like us! He can never find anything unless it's a word I've lost. I used to tell him "My first name is not 'Wheresmy', but he didn't think that was funny.

And you do keep us smiling Sandra, perhaps because we can relate.

When Andy is looking for something in the refrigerator I usually volunteer to find it...he doesn't do snacks so it's usually at dinner time. It's a lot quicker than trying to explain. We agree with the sentiment it takes two of us to make one brain...we definitely need one another.
