MY Jelly in the sunshine

I gave up sugar 3 years 9 months ago.  I do love PB&J on crackers or toast or biscuits or any thing I should not eat.
I only eat Polaner All Fruit, sweetened with fruit. The jars are tiny, 10 oz and Expensive.

Wal-Mart has been out of it since the 3rd month of PANDEMIC Panic!

We went to Publix to get our Flu shots and they gave me a $10.00 gift card. I walked to the Jelly and got 4, cost was $9.94 .

When I opened the first jar the next day, the lid was not sealed and the jelly was spoiled. I could not find the receipt.
there may have been Words and Mumblings about how stupid I was to toss the receipt.
The good news is, they made a trade for a good jar with no hassle.
It was news to me that
Since the pandemic, Publix has cut back.

Each year we get our flu shots and EACH of us gets a gift card. NOT this year. We only got one per couple
I asked why we did not get the usual already completed and ready to sign flu shot letter. She said we stopped that this year. We had to stop the mailouts

She jabbed us in the arm  and NO Band-Aid.. they cut those out also.

I called this My Jelly because Bob eats Peach or Apricot Preserves with Real Sugar.

So now I know the best kind of jelly to buy! Really, no band-aid is a bit much. But I guess it isn't really needed, and it is all the better to watch for a reaction.

not even a band aid? wow... it seems this year everything is not like it should be...

If you are like me, a little bit of jam/jelly goes a long way, so although small and costly, it will still extend well! YAM xx

I understand cut backs but no band aid? That's kind of crazy.
Glad they took that jar of jelly back. I'm cheap so when I buy jelly I buy the store brand. Of course mine is loaded with sugar too.

I'll take jams & jellies sweetened with fruit pectin any day...my favorite is imported from France. Only in one store & Black Raspberry!! Yes, very expensive, but worth it. That's the kind I eat & none other.

It's great that they exchanged the jar without the recept!!

Since my gum surgery on July 28 I have been on a no seed, nuts restriction.
I too love jam on my bagel. I was delighted to discover Polaner's seedless preserves.
Hugs all around

It seems the businesses are struggling to keep afloat at a cost to the consumer; high prices and low quality, sigh.

They look so pretty...I used to buy that for Roger. He loves jelly on toast when he eats a regular basis. And if we have chili, he must have jelly on crackers. Right at this moment in time, I cannot think if those have peanut butter, too, or not.

Those stinkers! Seriously Publix, no band-aids? We usually shop at Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie (less-expensive), but I LOVE Publix and always believed they held themselves to higher standards.
I normally get my flu shot at Walgreens, but now I'm hearing chat about a 'senior' version. May postpone that until I see my primary doctor in November.

Glad you were able to get the kind you like and also glad to hear they exchanged the bad one without a probelm!

Crazy about the cut-backs..I really don't understand about the band aids..For the amount of shots that store does...band aids aren't very expensive..
We don't have a Publix here.
That jelly sounds delicious but we don't use much of it anyway. I still have one container in my freezer from my homemade plum jelly.
When it thaws it doesn't last too long before it goes wonky.
Great pictures with the sunshine on the jars.

I don't like those cutbacks - glad they changed your jelly. I will have to ask our Publix about ours. I was waiting till mid-October.

Some of that no sugar jelly is very tasty, but as you say, a bit more expensive .

Peach is also my favorite flavor of Jelly/Fruit. I have been using All Fruit since I joined weight watchers in 1995, and don't even like the taste of sugary jellies or jams anymore

I was expecting to see a photo of your pet jellyfish in the sunshine, but the edible jelly in the sunshine is very attractive, and easier to photograph than a jellyfish probably.

That is the BEST jelly. I can't eat much natural sugar either so I don't eat it any more but my hubby does! Enjoy your day. Hope you got some of the cool temps we have this morning! Feels marvelous!!!

Glad they exchanged your jelly. We have never been into jelly much except when the kids were younger but every once in a while Mark wants some. Sorry about the cutbacks!!
