My Samsung Tablet, Always ON, 24/7 and lives on the breakfast bar.
I am an avid weather watcher. Which means I am thankful for the Radar Apps.
I have Three. Two are below, the 3rd is our Cable provide Bay New 9 app from Spectrum
The one of the left, shows Lightning Strikes, we live in the USA lightning capital. It also shows the storms. I can watch the hurricanes on both of these. And tell what the local temp is outside at any moment. 
Most of all I am thankful for my eyes that I can see and internet and the skills to use them.
Jars are Big Boy's Meds and treats.
I check my emails on the tablet also, and talk my answers, which is why you sometime get strange words that make no sense. The tablet is smart but not smart enough to understand my accent.

Wade was always a big weather watcher. I rarely check it. I suppose if Gibbs had the same problem that Big has I would want to know what was coming though. Presley is on the front of my tablet.

I never thought about having a dedicated weather app, but that might not be a bad idea. Tom's become quite the weather-watcher since we moved here to Alabama.

According to state rules (OAR 736-021-0090) people may collect "small quantities' of nonliving items without a permit. Those quantities are defined as (daily quantities): a 1-gallon container of stones, shells and loose fossils, a 5-gallon container of sand and 1 cubic yard of driftwood (up to three cords per year).
Big Boy is a total doll.
Hmmm, interesting...your last comment. I consider it all beachcombing along the beach because tides are always changing what's there. I can imagine at inland parks the rules change...understandably. But, we have nothing like that except for picking up your trash.
Lovely to see BB on your tablet. I like to keep in touch with the weather also, and how wonderful that you check out the thunder for BB. I used to have to really check carefully when speaking into my iPAD. I sent out some very strange texts in the beginning, and even now when I forget to read through.
So glad you are happy with your tablet. Samsung makes good products.
