Downtown Parking in our City

Yesterday I showed you one of the parking Garages, there are Thrree, this one has free parking for Courthouse and all the Govt buildings downtown. I parked in it when I had Jury duty, 15 years ago and back then it was Ugly. They have beautified it on the oustide and the screens block the hot Florida Sun

Below is a Jimmy John's Sub Shop, on the corner of the bank building.
I had taken all these photos while riding Big Boy and don't really have the heart to do my usual TALKING. I decided to just show the photos anyway

They did a nice job of making them attractive. Thank you.

that's a super idea to offer free parking for the peeps who have to visit da court... has it long term parking lots too? Just in case ;O))))

As far as I know, the only area we have covered parking is the mall. Everywhere else it's open parking lots.

Hello,

The screens do make the parking lot more attractive. There are not many free places to park in our downtown area. You would have to park far away and walk miles. Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy weekend!

None of the parking garages are free here but if you go to the court house for jury duty they do stamp your ticket so you don't have to pay.
We don't have a Jimmy John's here but we do have a Papa Johns pizza shop

For years and years there was no parking garage in Terre haute, but I think there is one now....just in recent years.

I love the symmetry of the parking building... and pictures can fill lots of headspace. Few words required. YAM xx

It's Parking-Meter City around here, with the accompanying game of cat-and-mouse.

The screens are a great idea for buildings in Florida.

Great idea!
Hey, I totally get where certain places or other stimuli can trigger heartache. What do ya say we take a break and hug our dogs?

Your construction and building is so different from here - I like it./

PS how are you scratches and sprains doing?

They made it golden! It's pretty. I guess there's nothing you can do with the inside. I also like the palm trees, of course we have none, and have to go to a Botanical Garden hothouse to see them.

That's okay to not feel like talking.
It's nice to see the area where you live.
Time will soften the ache but I'm sure it will never go away completely.

Nice looking building for just being a Parking Garage (we don't have any here where I live). I always enjoy seeing the Palm Trees in your photos. We don't have any of those here either.

I haven't felt much like talking lately.....

It’s an interesting looking parking area helped with the sun screens. I have never been in a Jimmy John’s. I don’t think there is one close to us.
