I am posting this on Nature Friday even though the other tree is a FAKE tree.
A tree I have received as a gift in 2004 as a gift. the tree came with a whole Box of Milk bones, each one wired on a limb. It was a gift from a friend at work for our two dogs, that is how I know the year, we only had Baby and Jake, so the Christmas before we got Jake.
I tried to be thankful for the cute tree as I used Bob's snippers to cut off those bones.
No photos, this was before I was blogging.
This tree has no breakable ornaments and is decorated with ornaments from the Dollar Tree and 1 or 2 ornaments from blog friends.
It sits in front of the window, the one where dogs turn over trees.

REAL milk bones? Baby would have destroyed it! This tree is really cute!
It is beautiful! A sweet gift from a friend for the dogs. I can just imagine all the milk bones hanging from it and now you have all these pretty decorations.
we love it... and unbreakable decorations are a good thing LOL
Pretty, pretty, pretty!! I love it.
So I'm assuming since you needed snippers, those milk bones were wired in pretty good. That would have been a real pain in the butt. It's a cute tree though and perfect around animals since it's all unbreakable.
Hello,
It is a pretty tree! I think you had the right idea to remove those milk bones. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy weekend!
It is beautiful!
Small and very pretty!
Hugs!
What a great gift...and left you with good memory.
It's an adorable tree!
Cute! Hers was a sweet gesture, but I can only imagine (eye roll) the work trying to free all those dog treats.
I'm surprised some enterprising soul hasn't begun marketing a pet-proof tree toy. Two years in a row now (so far) our girls have ignored ours.
I love the tree, it is just gorgeous. And isn't it amazing what you can get at the Dollar Tree?
Cute tree...milkbones are to dogs what sugarplums are to kids. Well, today's kids never heard of sugarplums.
A beautiful tree is nature...whether it's fake or not! You do such a great job decorating and making the tree twinkle in your pictures!
A beautiful dog-proof tree. 😊
it looks pretty just as it is.
I like the tree without the Milk Bones but the ornaments instead, although I am sure your dogs would have preferred the original decorations, Sandra.
I like the updates you did on the tree!
A Christmas Tree for dogs. Now I've heard everything. You have done a good job converting it. I love the lights.
it is beautiful! love it.
