While hanging curtains and shifting plants, Our OTC order came. Our insurance gives us 60 dollars each once a quarter to be used ordering Over The Counter things Old People Need.
Above would have cost me over 200.00 if I purchased at Walmart. We got it FREE.
Delivered to our door.
IT ARRIVED
the cabinet I store things like this in was bulging from C-19 spree buying overload.
I took everything out of the cabinet
everything out of the closet
Shifted and Shaped and Stashed and Stuffed
and Put it all back in different places.
Four hours, removing, tossing, organizing.
even agonizing.
We need everything in the THREE boxes of First Aid, because Bob is on blood thinners and bleed daily.
I could probably pass the RN test if I tried.
I spent an entire four hours of my morning removing and tossing and organizing.
color me shocked at the number of bottles of alcohol and
peroxide.
and when I counted 5 cans of Lysol, I truly sighed.
With much glee I can tell you that 3 of those boxes are empty inside.
but Wait There is even MORE!
to be continued in episode Four

It is all neat and organized now. This was time well spent. Plus, if you need some first aid in a hurry, it will be easy to find. I pretty much know what your order is except for the Cetrazine. What is it?
Crikey you are on a spree. The is on of the best arrange cupboards I have ever seen. I have often thought that my cupboard could be half as deep from front to back an have the other half of the depth attached to to the doors so that double the amount of stuff was on display when the door was opened and nothing had to be 'pulled out' to get at the stuff in the back. Seems like you've got that worked out already.
You're on a roll!!

Oh you know I am loving this! YAM xx
Hello,
It is great you are so prepared. For a while the Lysol disappeared, we could not find a can to buy. I like everything organized, looks nice! Have a great day and a happy new week!
You are on a roll! I laughed at the end - you had a Billy Maze moment "BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE! (Remember him in the old commercials?)
What a beautifully organized closet and I am so very impressed with what your insurance gives you for OTC purchases. Amazing
Hugs Cecilia
Lucky you ... our insurance (VIVA) only allows us $40/quarter. I'm impressed you managed to stockpile lots of alcohol and peroxide. Months back that stuff was more precious than holy water.
Seriously, it looks great. Feels good, doesn't it?
Oh my goodness - you had a HUGE job there!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's such a great thing, I had no idea that some insurance covers things like that. What a great thing to do. Mine only supplements what Medicare covers. If Medicare doesn't cover it, neither does mine.
wow, such a beautifully organized closet! great job, Sandra.
enjoy your day and have a wonderful week ahead! XOXO
I totally understand the stuffing and rearranging and purging.
When son Mark was here in March he put in new bathroom sink faucets (2). Thus everything had to come out from under the sink cabinets.
Lots of purging and putting things back in better order.
I feel for you and Good for You!!

Now that everything is neatly organized, good luck finding what you are looking for. At least that would be my problem.
Just realized an unused bottle of eyedrops has been there since 2015. I think I'll start there. A nurse or someone wrote "for comfort" on the box with a felt-tip pen. I don't even remember what the problem was.
COVID forced us to hoard! For awhile I was FedEx'ing toilet paper to my son and his wife, as their area had nothing. I admit I just bought three big cans of Lysol, for fear of it disappearing again. I need to take a page from your book and organize everything again. I am perpetually behind now on chores. WHAT is going to be in Episode Four???!!! Hurry, post!
When I get really sick I'm just gonna skip the hospital and come live at your house.
Great job! That's neat you can buy alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, and that your insurance pays for so much of it. It was still a lot of work.
Louis Dean has new insurance this year and they sent a brochure saying he gets $80 for OTC things.....I guess I should not have thrown that away. I didn't think it was really true!
Good job on the cleaning and rearranging. It always feels good when things are organized.
So your insurance gives you money to order OTC things, do they give you a certain place you have to order them through? That's pretty awesome that they do that.
I had to google Lysol, never heard of it. I'm a white vinegar/baking soda with hot water, kind of grrl...
That's a great deal from your insurance and way to go on working on the cabinet!
