Just How Bored Can We Be?

I walked through the living room, Bob was 'focused' on the new Samsung 55.
With nothing else to do except for a list of housework, I chose to see how the Samsung Cell would take Photos of the Samsung TV.
Now you know!
How bored can I be? I actually sat down to watch this guy put brakes on a truck.

Later, I heard the CNN noise turn to a familiar voice. I raced to the living room to see which movie was on.

Liam Neeson was on the screen, and I say to Bob

OH YAY! I love Liam, this movie is Love Actually.

Actually, I was afraid to say the word Love because that is an instant flip the channel prompt for Bob, he is a LOVE STORY MOVIE hater. But I remembered he watched Pretty Woman with me several times. I said you might like this, lets watch it and if you hate it, we can record for me to watch later.

By the time the Prime Minister of England, better known as Hugh Grant, owner of a heart melting voice/accent was dancing to the music and down the stairs,
Bob was laughing out loud.
A good sign. He watched with me all the way to the end.
Which proves we can both be bored into watching things we would not normally watch
Many of my favorite actors were in the CAST of Love Actually. Have you seen it?
Actor includes men and women.
Ladies, who are your top 3 favorite Male Actors and Gentleman, how about your favorite female actors.
Mine are in this order Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson and Hugh Grant. that is not all of my favorites, Denzel Washington is next and might just tie with Hugh.
I am pretty sure I have seen all of the movies every movie ever made by these 4 actors.
I have favorite females also, but this thing is way to long

Your phone takes great TV photos. I am trying to think who are my favorite TV actors. I liked any movie with Michael Caine and Dennis Quaid, or Sean Connery. The only female actresses that come to mind are Judi Dench and Maggie Smith.

I think that's a "man thing"when it comes to romance movies. As far as favorite actors, mine, for the most part, are no longer with us...women actresses, I really like Helen mirren.

Your phone took a good picture. I've watched shows like that with Wade before.
There were times when I was watching, and interested in something and Wade would change the channel. I guess that's why we normally watched from two different tv's
Favorite actor and actress? Don't know that I really one. I always liked George Clooney, and I think I saw every Tom Hanks movie ever made. Maybe my favorite actress would be Julia Roberts.

Hello,

Your phone takes great photos. I think Sam Elliott is one of my favorite actors. There are more I just can't remember their names. I can not imagine watching a show where they work on cars. Take care, enjoy your day!

LOL - what a great post for Monday. Love Actually is a very fine movie with lots of very fine actors. I don't really think in terms of favourites but there are some actors who impress me enough that I will watch something just because they are in it. But I don't mind unknowns, as long as the story is good, the acting up to scratch and the characters engaging. If you are asking who we might be 'sweet' on, I tend to the likes of Gregory Peck and Sydney Poitier - who sadly just left us. Of the current batch? James McAvoy, who is an absolute chameleon of an actor... but I also like Dwayne Johnson for light entertainment! YAM xx

Husband's guard goes up if he thinks I've chosen what he calls a "Ladies' Movie."

I love the oldies but goodies and I think Dave is afraid to watch the sentimental, romantic ones because he might be caught having a tear or two.
I really like Harrison Ford and George Clooney. Judi Dench and Julia Roberts come to mind.
I do love musicals the old ones like Sound of Music and the old West Side Story.

We bet none of your readers mention Bull Nighy, even though he was in that film you were just watching. Watch Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - it's fun too.

Favorite actor, Tom Selleck in the Jesse Stone movies. I also like him in the Blue Bloods TV series. I've put Love Actually on my watch list. Thanks!

... about as bored as the other night when Tom put on 1960's The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
I don't recall having seen Love Actually, but pretty sure I'd remember Liam. (*grin*)
Fun, sitting in study this morning trying to come up with my Top 3. In no particular order they're: Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks and Jack Nicholson. The ladies were a bit harder: Meryl Streep, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman. Maybe Heck, I don't even know half the popular actors nowadays.

Everyone has an opinion about stars don't they? When did Hugh Grant get gray hair? Is that a new movie - it looked good. My guy is LOVE STORY MOVIE hater too!

I don't have anyone switching my channels - or telling me to stop and turn off a gadget so it's great. But love that Bob actually enjoyed the movie and laughed as much as you probably did.

Liam Neeson, I am very "Taken" with him and I do imagine that he probably does "have a very particular set of skills". I would like to learn all about each of them.

I also enjoy watching Sean Connery. I like his movies other than the Bond films he is most famous for. I watched him in Robin Hood and Marian the other night. It was nice seeing him and Audrey Hepburn together.

I like watching a lot of the old time movie stars, too. Bogart, Joel MacCrea, John Garfield, Tyrone Power,Clark Gable,Gary Cooper, and newer Bruce Willis, Keanu Reeves.

Female actor favorites are Ingrid Bergman,Meryl Streep, Debbie Reynolds, Barbara Stanwyck, Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, Ann Sheridan.

I'm glad to hear that Bob enjoyed it. There are a lot of entertaining movies out there to watch. I know I struggle to get Mark to watch a love story. I have to give my list some thought!! You're list has great actors on it. I will always watch movies of theirs.
