We got Rain!

Two Storms! Two Days in a Row! 1 inch of rain the first day, 2 inches the 2nd day. Look what 3 inches of rain did to the ferns and moss roses.

enlarge to see the NEW green on the tips of the before rain dark green. Overnight!
the tiny pot is the two pieces I rooted in the little black pots, and the top is the crack in the pot which is now not to be seen.

WE GOT RAIN! Thank You Lord!

What a difference, it all looks even better! But too bad you got struck by lightning!

Your little lightening thing even moves in the picture in our Reacing List. Very clever. We got rain all day yesterday - we had better go and check the garden. Xxx Mr T

I always marvelled at how even the shortest rain shower can trigger something in nature that all the hose-watering in the world doesn't seem to do... water is life-preserving... but rain is life-giving! YAM xx

All I can say is....LUCKY YOU. We sit here, still parched. No fires like cheerful monk, but no rain either....lucky you.

I’m hoping the weather man has it right and his promised rain arrives tomorrow. Then I can be like you and see improvements in the garden - hopefully not with a lightning bolt driving down through my body though😊

Woo-hoo! And the ferns sang, "Amen.". Super clever toons; did you have a great time making them?

re: Cody
He is doing well for an almost 14 year old large breed dog.
His biggest issue is getting up...once up he walks slowly.
Many days my walk is way before he gets up and out.
Most always I'll see him about 10 am or after.

Thank you Lord - for real - I know you are in a serious drought there - hope you get some more.

If you tire of all that rain, please ship some to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Since you can slide down a rainbow, moving weather patterns should be a snap for the Madsnapper!!!

Yay for rain!! We sure could use some here too...

How awesome to see your plants thriving!! I hope the rain keeps up and you all can climb out of the drought!!

Happy Dance for sure!!!
What a difference a day makes.
Love the new growth and how lush everything got.
We have a lot of wind today which continues to dry everything out too much. Rain is over for this year so sad....we still have a gazillion weeds to pull in the backyard. I really want the yard to look half way loved before our younger son and family are here after Granddaughter's wedding.
Good news...our car started and we made it to Dave's eye appointment..good Dr. and we got a prescription for new glasses...ready for it... Co-pay was $5.00 and the new glasses will be $0000000 nada...we had $350..on his account and the glasses cost $299...no cost to us. So grateful for our insurance!!!
It truly is an answer to prayer.

That's great, always happy to see a little liquid sunshine, just so long as it doesn't cause floods. Love those avatars of yours and enjoying your flowers very much.

The combination of rain and warmth causes things to grow so fast. We have the moisture and now it looks like a few warmer days ahead. Yeah!!!

We did have some rain while we were in Texas. James is afraid of thunder.
