The desk on bottom above,
Cheap Pressed Wood covered in wood look paper.
Vintage 1995.
Bob's time to put together with instructions only in Swedish, 5 hours.
Paper bubbled, then peeled, 3 years back.
Think black duct tape and a MadSnapper mind.
Imagine Nagging Bob for 3 years.
His answer, it holds the computer, it has drawers, it works.
We do not need a new desk.
On it was a tower, a monitor, the drawers crammed with junk,
the wires under it looked like a nest of dusty, greasing snakes.
All enough to tone down my nagging because I really dd not want to DEAL
with a new desk.
Last year the tower died, the monitor left, I cleaned out the drawers
and sat the new All In One, plug and play with only One Wire Asus on the desk.
I nagged a little bit, but then the keyboard got stuck in the gooky stuff of the 3-year-old duct tape.
Two months ago, I got A Bee in My Bonnet and could not stop thinking
about wanting the desk, Gone. Wanting the 30-year-old dog crate GONE.
The desktop weighs less than 3 pounds and is unplug and lug it to the other side of the room
and plug it in.
I moved it and in my pleasant, please help me voice I said to Bob,
I want that desk out at the curb to be picked up...
to be continued

I cannot wait for the rest, this is like a soap opera cliffhanger. I hope you got rid of it. Now if you got a new one, or none at all...
we are super curious...tat is better than tv... can we place a bet?
What next???!!!
This reminds me of things that I have wanted moved in the past and Wade would drag his feet. I would eventually do it myself huffing and puffing the whole way through it and when I was done Wade would say something like "I would have done that for you".
So I'm wondering did Bob move it and did you put something else in it's place?
Hello,
I am looking at my computer desk now, it could be replaced too.
I had to laugh your comment about the desk drawers filled with junk, so are my desk drawers. I do need to find a way to make the wires look neater.
Did you buy a new desk, they are not fun to put together.
Take care, enjoy your day!
Didn't we all have one of those desks at one time or another? Must admit, I'm envious of those neat, hanging file folders. That and the comfy-looking desk chair. Have you seen the PRICE of those lately? Yikes!
I'm waiting with bated breath for the REST of the story!

I agree...this is like a cliffhanger! I have some things around here that need to adios but it sure is hard to get motivated to do it! Enjoy your day!
I'm hoping you got what you wanted. What is it with men? Maybe they like us nagging, lol!
Good for you on making that decision, Sandra, as it does not seem that Bob would have been in a hurry to do it. Hopefully, the next art will contain news and photos of your "new" set-up.
Life is just too crazy.
We are amassing a huge pile in our garage to go to Good Will soon.
I can't wait for the mess to be gone.
Dave is the super organized one in our family and I know things will be gone because of his "drive"
At least we are both feeling more human today...now if we can get our energy back we will be in business.
Sue
You syre did leave a big cliff hanger LOL! This could go either way...I can't wait to see the next installment!
Looking forward to the rest of the story. 😊
You re reminding me of our move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes it is just time for a change. My desk literally fell apart when we tried to move it, so the choice was clear. In my case, IKEA to the rescue and now I have a simple, yet sturdy desk.
Hi Sandra, I'm with the lady who commented before me, IKEA has neat things that are easy to put together. What next I wonder!
Can't wait to hear what comes next....
We are catching up like boxed-set viewing. Mr T has vague memories from his young cat days of a desk like the old one in his house. It left somehow when big computers stopped being a thing. After that.....no desk at all. Now we read episode 2.....
