When I took this photo of the steam, just to see if my cell would do it, I had a post in mind!
That post has since joined the other things in my mind that have disappeared into
the land of
I went to get Beaus Egg out of the fridge, and the little red plastic container was missing in action. I thought, Oh I must have given it to him already.
Beau gets half an egg each morning and the other half the next day.
I opened the storage cabinet and there it was! With Egg In it.
In the cabinet for two days.
Bye Bye Egg!
If I figure out what the steam post was about, you will be the first to know.
I did remember to add a poem.
Dollars are disappearing like steam from a pot,
My stomach is in a knot.
I thought of finding a part time job,
But how would I work with my mind like a doorknob?
My Mind is like steam, first you see it and then you don't.
Will I remember? I either will or I won't.

That sounds like life around here. 😊❤️
We ARE in the land of Nevermind!!! But at least your mistakes and forgetfullness are small!
Hmmmm…I think it is catching :)
that's what our wonga does too... it is like steam... is steam better than dust in the wind? LOL
The egg in the cabinet?! Oh my.
Just the smell of it rotting, I'd die.
Your life in recent past, no wonder...
My brain too would go asunder!!
I've almost done the exact same thing with eggs. So far I've caught myself before I put things away in the wrong place.
After my 2 day experience with the water I know exactly how you feel. It's no fun at all.
I thinking about poor Beau did not get his egg, it was sitting in the cabinet.
I tend to check on things twice, like the pots on the stove. Then my hubby will come behind me and check on things again. Take care, enjoy your day!

Yup. I know that condition very well indeed. PUff of smoke... YAM xx
I love that image of vapor ... up, up and away!
This reminds me of the time I was trying to make room in the freezer. In doing so, I (temporarily) stuck a carton of ice cream on top of the fridge and didn't find it until the next morning.
Oh my! We do have to concentrate more on the task at hand. Hope today is a good one...for you AND Beau!
I love the poem and love Anni's reply!
LOL MS
The other day I thought of a good FFF tale...I prepared a post with just the title that should remind me of what I wanted to say.
Hugs Cecilia
My mind and situation is like yours!
From all the comments it seems we are all in the same boat.
For 3 days I had been trying to find my house and mailbox key. They are hooked together and I always return them to my purse when done.
Went to get them and they weren't there. Dumped everything out of said purse...nada.. looked in my pockets and even in the washer...nope...lifted up things , moved things around..emptied my purse for the second time..not there....checked the car floor and all around in the nooks and crannies..where could it go? 3rd time with the purse..it still wasn't there.
Sunday morning I was going to order something from Amazon and went to get my wallet out of my purse..
I guess you know where this is going.. when I got out my credit card what was tucked down in that space? my keys. they were nice and cozy and enjoying my 3 day panic mode.
I thought I was loosing my mind..
Maybe I did...it vaporized...

Sorry about the egg! Believe me we are all guilty of doing things like this.
Mr B sent F a message the other day to say: I've reached an age when my train of thought often leaves the station without me....
